The hotel has 201 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     At first told one key card for TWO people. Then we explained we are a family of 4 with a newborn baby.We also spoke to a couple where one of them was sick and they wouldn't give a card. So either leave them without aircon or make the sick person get up.Then told we would need to pay £10 if we lose the card. We said fine but still a no.Then told the system can't handle two card for a room. This is crazy for a 4 star hotel.The staff were the best thing about this hotel. The housekeeping and bar staff especially. Always said hello.Location is good. Although we were always hassled for hair cuts and tattoos around the pool.The all inclusive kids club came round and tried to take the children for face painting and when we got there they held out their hand and said £5 per child.Sometimes shows in the evening but very late for the children.Buffet food was okay and some dishes were very nice. Always replaced when empty.Cocktails were horrible and ended up drinking beer. Pina colada was always cuddled.The bedding was sooooo scratchy the thin sheets were worse than hospital bed sheets and we ended up asking for blankets which they lady denied existed till we showed her one from another room and then seemed annoyed at us.The bed was very firm so if that is your preference it would be okay. I'm a side sleeper so my hip and back hurt every morning and I don't suffer with back pain.Beach towels to rent were so small and didn't hardly cover the sun lounger. Wish I brought one with me.The pool area was always clean. Staff did a good job of collecting cups and mopping up water.Rooms: 3/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5RoomsClean but not comfortable.SafetyWe felt safe but anyone could walk in and go in the lift. No key card required for lift use.Food and drinksMore 3 star than 4

    Just got back from a pleasant week spent here in this hotel . Its kept very clean & the staff are very nice . The rooms could do with a refurb as there were a few damp patches in the bathroom . I was in a room facing the pool it can be rather noisy , but the sun shone every morning on the balcony which had 2 chairs & a small table . The food served was very tasty but i never got a HOT meal the Bain Marie did not keep the food hot . There was a full selection of salads & amazing sweet cakes . The Bread there is wonderful fresh every day . The staff were over zealous collecting your plate when eating some times i had not finished and they were there wanting to clear the plate away . But so polite . The Alcohol >>> i tried several cocktails and i doubt if there was any alcohol in them . There was Wine though . Over all i would say its a basic hotel . clean .good food .and situated in a perfect part of the small town .

    Just returned after a week, and can honestly say what a lovely hotel in a perfect location!! Rooms beautiful and clean staff amazing plenty to do for children and added bonus still plenty of sunbeds after 8.30 always something to eat!! We will definitely be back!! Very relaxing

    Nice hotel, entertainment team very friendly. Nice shows in the evening. Would like more fruit in food and no sugar drinks. Over all a lovely holiday

    Arrived earlier than check in.. Lovely Lady on reception explained all the details about the hotel.. Baggage brought to my room.Large room at the back of the hotel.. Got sun in the afternoon on the balcony.Only complaint was the noise from the air conditioning units coming from the Aqua Hotel.Food in the dining room was very good.. Even though it could have been a bit hotter..Restaurant Manager was always on duty.. Very friendly and courteous.Going in to my second week.. The sun bed brigade started putting towels on beds at 6.30 and many not occupying until midday.. There were a few guests trying to take over certain areas.. Very noisy.. With there flags hanging over the balconies.. ie. Sunderland..Overall a very pleasant stay.. Very clean and good value for money.. Ideal location..Thanks again to all the lovely staff.
