  You will not regret booking Loryma. We found this gem during COVID and have been back every year since - apart from this summer due to personal circumstances not allowing. Turunc has become our second home and Loryma is the perfect base. Up in the mountains with stunning views. The resort and grounds are well kept with gorgeous nature. The choice of food is phenomenal from the buffet breakfast to the al a carte restaurant. A handy shuttle takes you into town throughout the day. The kindness of the staff is what makes this place feel special: Angela and her daughter are a wonderful team. All staff are always helpful and offer support with trust and kind eyes. As a female solo traveller with two boys, I’ve felt safe and looked after at the Loryma. I cannot wait to return. **Photos are from various stays over the years.

  This hotel is nothing like the pictures displayed online. To start the Taxi driver that dropped us off warned us that this is not a safe area at nights. Outside the hotel doors were homeless persons. The rooms was small dingy and needed dusting. Everything in the bathroom is black, we were not able to see if it was clean or not. The room and bed are at a very odd angle. We stayed all of 5 minutes. Not nice at all. We were extremely disappointed.

  We have now visited Loryma Resort four times, and we have already booked our next holiday! Over the past five years, Loryma has become much more than just a holiday destination for us — it really feels like our summer home.The apartments are spacious, comfortable and have everything you need, with plenty of space for up to five people. The entire resort is beautifully designed by the owner, Atilla Bey, and you can see his personal touch everywhere. There is a real warmth and character to the place that makes it feel very special.And the views are simply breathtaking. We never get tired of looking at them!Before we discovered Loryma, we would never return to the same holiday destination. Loryma completely changed that. We keep coming back because every visit feels special, and we always leave looking forward to the next one.A big thank you to **Fatma at reception**, who is always so friendly, welcoming and helpful. **Tuncay**, who drives the bus to the beach every day, is always smiling and happy to help — nothing is ever too much trouble.And of course, thank you to **Angela**, who always gives us such a warm welcome every time we arrive. It is people like Angela, Fatma and Tuncay who make Loryma feel like coming back to see old friends.Thank you to Atilla Bey and the entire Loryma team for creating such a wonderful place.   Great hotel set up in the mountains approx 25 min drive from main Marmaris strip/ nightlife/ shopping. Approx 10Min drive to Turunc, much smaller but still vibrant town with lots of great places to eat. Would suggest hiring a car if staying at the hotel although they do lay on mini buses to marmaris they stop quite early and taxes are not particularly cheap. Hotel itself is great. No getting up at 7am to put your towels around the pool. Every where is very quiet. Loads of seating, great views, great food and staff bend over backwards to help in anyway they can. Accommodation is perfectly fine. Apartment have all you need. For nightlife you do red to venture out to Turunc or Marmaris though so factor that into your costs. Trip wise we hired jet skis from icmelar beach, day boat trip to turtle island and mud baths, a Turkish bath experience and also a days intro to scuba diving. Would recommend all of them

  We originally booked Loryma Resort for 7 nights, but quite simply we weren’t ready to leave! We ended up extending our stay to 11 nights, which probably says everything about how much we enjoyed our time here.The setting is absolutely beautiful. The views across Turunç Bay and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking, and there’s a wonderfully peaceful, relaxed atmosphere throughout the resort. It feels a world away from the big, busy package holiday hotels, while still having plenty to keep the whole family occupied.What really made our stay, though, were the people. Every member of staff we encountered was incredibly friendly, patient and helpful. A special mention has to go to Fatma and Ilknur on reception, who were always smiling and couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our stay.We also have to give a huge thank you to Eren, the sports instructor. He was absolutely brilliant with our children. We did kayaking, climbing and football with him, and there were plenty of other activities available too. He was enthusiastic, patient and genuinely great fun with the kids – they absolutely loved him.Another absolute highlight was the boat trip with Emiliano, which we booked through reception. There were only 10 guests on the boat, which made for such a comfortable and relaxing day. We saw other boat trips advertised down in Turunç for a little less money, but some of those take up to 30 people and, having experienced Emiliano’s trip, we were very glad we chose this one. There was plenty of room to relax, beautiful stops along the way and a fantastic BBQ lunch. It was easily one of our favourite days of the holiday and we’d thoroughly recommend booking it.Breakfast was another highlight. The freshly cooked omelettes every morning were lovely, along with a really good selection of fresh food to start the day.Both pools were great in different ways. The outdoor pool was brilliant fun for the whole family, while the indoor pool was perfect when we wanted to escape the heat and cool off for a while.Although Loryma sits above Turunç, getting into the village is very easy. Taxis arrive quickly and are reasonably priced. We also hired a little tuk-tuk for a few days, which was great fun and gave us the freedom to come and go whenever we wanted… although it did struggle a little with that final climb back up the hill! ??And the hill is worth mentioning because it’s precisely why the views from Loryma are so spectacular. Sitting up above the bay, particularly towards the end of the day, is just beautiful.Perhaps the nicest surprise of the whole holiday was the atmosphere and the people we met. We met so many lovely people and like-minded families during our stay, and there was a genuinely friendly, relaxed feel around the resort. The children made friends, we made friends, and it became one of those holidays where you very quickly settle into a rhythm and feel completely at home.There is something about Loryma that is difficult to capture in a review. It has a lovely calmness to it. You can spend the day relaxing by the pool looking out over the Aegean, head out on the water, join in with the activities, wander into Turunç or simply do very little at all.The service, the views, the atmosphere and, above all, the people were genuinely five-star for us.We arrived expecting a seven-night holiday and eventually had to drag ourselves away after 11 nights!A truly special holiday at a truly special resort. We would return in a heartbeat – and we definitely plan to.Thank you to everyone at Loryma for some wonderful memories. ??
