    Luxurious, warm, quiet and friendly family boutiue hotel

    Rarely have I stayed at any hotel as beautiful as this one. Set a block back from the beach and main street of town, it consiste. of small stone houses (tas evlar) set around a very laarge swimming pool (shallow pool sectioned. off) in the most delightful garden, full of flowering plants. there are nooks in small garden patios and a kidney shaped adult pool in its own garden area. Chairs and tables are comfortable with plush cushions to sink into and chaisess longues as well as deck chairs around both pools. Because rooms are either in their own stone cottage or in a two storey stone building, the hotel. is quiet. Rooms are small but quite adequate and absollutely. immaculate. The staff are attentive and there is a warm. family feeling as they eat together under a shady tree. the breakfast is possibly the best I have ever tasted: a truly Turkish experience with numerous small dishess of fruit, cheeses and mezze, home made jams and coffee or tea. this boutique hotel is an absolute gem.

    This is a truly wonderful retreat to visit. Run by a lovely, welcoming family for whom nothing is too much trouble. The staff were outstanding and a special mention must be made of Osman and Jordan; they took incredible care of us.The Tas Evler is hidden up a side street and is so silent, no television or music.Opening the door into this little piece of paradise is magical. The garden is beautiful and the pools so clean and inviting with plenty of sun beds.The breakfast is out of this world, never have I experienced anything like it. Everything is home made and locally sourced.I love Selimiye with its mix of very classy tourism, Turkish charm and village feel. It is so worth visiting and I will return.

    We enjoyed staying at this hotel in a backstreet behind the main beach. It has a very nice and very large swimming pool in a central courtyard surrounded by stone buildings. It was quiet at night and the staff were excellent. It was the best presented breakfast I have had all week. The hot doughnut bonds are particularly delicious.It is a short walk down to the beach where they have a sister restaurant and beach club where we then went for the day to sit by the sea and swim.The room was good and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area. By Turkish standard it is quite expensive but I would say it is of a standard above many other hotels.

    I only visited the Tas Evler for supper on two occasions and didn’t stay the night. However as a solo traveller I was so well looked after and made to feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble and I hope to return next year and stay for a few nights.

    It had been our first visit to Selimiye and we really enjoyed. It was really cozy, calm and quiet place. Suitable for families with an acceptable sized pool. The beach at the sea side is also used as a restaurant in the evening, which is quiet convenient. The service and staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and satisfactory.Really enjoyed and recommend.
