  Location is the best only 5 mins from main beach . Rooms are very spacious and cleaned on a daily basis . The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is lovely with hot water no matter what time of day . The staff are so friendly and look after every customers needs . It was great value for drinking and eating at the restaurant the portions were a good size .   First time staying here, helped with our cases when we got here, rooms lovely and spacious with kettle and fridge, nice size balcony, very clean maids in every day. Downstairs lovely and clean, spacious, service exceptional, lovely food and good drinks, pool area lovely and nice size. Location excellent 5 mins to bars, shops and beach. Will deffinately be coming again.   Dont listen to people saying its terrible.

  I stayed here for the first time for a week last week. I didn't know what to expect because of the mixed reviews and cheap price.I was pleasantly surprised.I arrived late at night and the welcome was great after a terrible journey with the airline and fighting on the plane and the transfer leaving with my suitcase. This had nothing to do with my hotel booking as i booked seperately. The hotel staff couldn't do enough to help me. Bare in mind I'm a solo traveler and an electric wheelchair user.They showed me 2 ground floor rooms as theres no lifts in the blocks, so I could chose which one would suit my disibility needs better.I was happy with my room. It was small but big enough for everything I needed including getting my wheelchair in to put on charge. The balcony was standard size with 2 chairs and a table.The bathroom had a shower and a hairdryer. The hairdryer was a lot better than usual hairdryers in turkey as it was more powerful for the longer hair guests. It was nice and clean and towels and a few shampoos were supplied.There's a kettle and cups and a flat screen tv. I'm not sure what channels could be obtained as I brought my android box to watch English TV and plugged it into their TV. There was a wardrobe and hanging space too. The bedside table was perfect for my cpap breathing apparatus to perch on with plenty of plug sockets for phones etc around the room. (I always carry extension leads incase hotels don't have this)The hotel room was cleaned daily if needed. I like to have it every 2-3 days as its better for the environment and costings for the hotel to keep prices down. Let's face it, who changes bedding and towels every day at home? I always let the house keeping in to empty bins as we dont want bugs in our rooms and keep the loo roll topped up. There is a great strong signal of wifi in the rooms. I got an esim and didn't need it at the hotel at all. Even to watch my TV box. This is a rarity and a massive plus for this hotel.I did have bed and breakfast but I didn't use breakfast facilities as I don't even eat it at home so I can't comment on it but others seemed pleased with it. There's plenty of sunbeds around the pool. They're nice big wooden and comfortable with a cushion on the.. Not them awful plastic ones. There's a big slide that the kids and big kids play on. Its fun watching them from my wheelchair. The pool is clean and safe and anti slip mats running along the edges for safety of the guests. Theres male and female toilets near the pool too for convenience. The other guests were mainly British and it was a friendly atmosphere. The staff are excellent speaking English. They are all helpful and fun. Not in your face like other hotels when they won't leave you alone. Theres a good food menu in this hotel and it was lovely and plentiful. The price of a beer was super cheap. Night times were fun if you chose to stay in the hotel with other guests to make acquaintances with and have a laugh. The bar stays open till very late. Don't worry you early night people, the music goes very low or off at midnight.You can have air con and safety deposit box for an extra charge. Theres also Turkish nights and bbq on too for guests to join in. Theres a free pool table and free dart board.All in all this hotel ticked all the boxes for me.Only down side is that me personally like the music around the pool during the day to be a little quieter so people can talk to one another and not have to shout. No need for a dj all day blasting clubland when a simple playlist of a mixed genre (including a bit of turkish) music to suit everybody would be perfect.   Great stay at Methap Family hotel

  I stayed at Mehtap Family Hotel and had an absolutely brilliant experience. The staff go above and beyond to assist and support guests with any queries they may have. I especially want to praise Mustafa, Orhan, Enes, and Ebo, who were all outstanding throughout my stay.It's fantastic to see some positive changes since my last visit, particularly those made following recent safety inspections. The improvements are noticeable and very reassuring.The rooms are always clean and tidy, the alcohol is reasonably priced, and the breakfast is substantial enough to set you up for the day ahead. The food is beautifully prepared, and both chefs deserve recognition for their hard work. They put in long hours to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay, and it certainly shows in the quality of the meals.The pool definitely wakes you up in the morning as it's quite refreshing! There was never any hassle getting a sunbed, with plenty available for everyone.The hotel is ideally located, with easy access to the beach, marina, and Blue Port. I will continue to stay here and would happily recommend it to others looking for a friendly, welcoming, and well-run hotel.I would also like to add a special note of recognition for Enes, Orhan, Ebo, and the two chefs. These guys are the face of the hotel's hospitality and work incredibly hard every day to keep guests happy and ensure everyone has a great experience. As a manager myself, I'd like to say to the hotel management: don't take these staff members for granted. They work exceptionally hard, often behind the scenes, and their dedication plays a huge part in making guests want to return. They are a real credit to the hotel and deserve recognition for everything they do.The little jewellery shop at the hotel is also fantastic. The lady and gentleman who run it are always polite, welcoming, and never pushy. If you're staying at Mehtap, I would definitely recommend taking a look, as they have some wonderful pieces available.Now for the negative side of my stay. While the majority of the staff worked incredibly hard to ensure guests had a great experience, I did observe one member of staff whose attitude appeared to be very different from the rest of the team. On several occasions, while others were constantly busy assisting guests, this individual seemed to spend a considerable amount of time sitting at the bar on his phone and away from his duties.The rooms were clean, tidy, and well maintained throughout my stay, with no concerns whatsoever regarding cleanliness. They were also a good size, providing plenty of space to relax and store belongings comfortably. Air conditioning is available for an additional weekly charge, which is worth bearing in mind when booking, especially during the hotter months.I also found the hotel to be pleasantly quiet and relaxing. There was no overly loud music during my stay, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere. The only exception was when there was a pre-booked birthday party, which is completely understandable and did not cause any issues. Overall, the hotel maintained a comfortable balance between entertainment and a peaceful environment.All of the amenities were of a good standard and well maintained throughout my stay. The facilities were clean, functional, and contributed positively to the overall experience. Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying breakfast, or using the communal areas, everything was presented to a standard that helped make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.As the hotel's DJ, I would have expected more interaction with guests and more effort to create a good atmosphere. During my stay, I requested a song which was kindly played by another member of staff. However, when the DJ became aware of this, he came over and abruptly stopped the song. When I explained that I had requested it, I found his response to be unnecessarily rude, not only towards myself but also towards other guests nearby.What disappointed me most was the contrast between this behaviour and the excellent service provided by the rest of the team. I also witnessed occasions where he spoke to colleagues in a manner that I felt was disrespectful. Every member of staff deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of their age, role, or length of service.This is only one negative point in what was otherwise a fantastic stay, but I felt it was worth mentioning because it stood out so sharply against the professionalism, dedication, and hard work shown by the rest of the hotel team. ilhan öztürk, İşletme Sahibi at Mehtap Family Hotel, responded to this review "Thank you for your feedback.   Second time I've stayed here and it's brilliant place .the food is really good and food selection on the menu .the drinks are a good price and nice selection of different cocktails and shotsThe rooms are very spacious and cleaned on a daily basis .I would highly recommend this hotel .location is 5 miss from beach and main bars ilhan öztürk, İşletme Sahibi at Mehtap Family Hotel, responded to this review "Thank you for your feedback.
