  I carnt understand why some people put these bad reviews I have been going to the tekin for 16 years staff carnt do enough for you especially illhan and his family going back in September with the family don't let bad reviews put you off it's a lovely hotel

  We had great flights and arrived mid afternoon,there were 6 of us in 3 room,easy book in we had asked for top floor sea view ,and our luck was in we were top floor with balcony and lovely view of the sea,both the bedroom,and lounge had doors onto the balcony great the staff were friendly ,and the apartments had their own swimming pool with Bar .and the beach was just down the road supermarket over the road great people in there ,,our friends liked their rooms as well. There is a restaurant under the apartments,their sunday roast is excellent but beware I had a sausage baguette no onions,no butter,3 little sausages .when I paid the Bill it cost 550 lira ELEVEN POUNDS . CHECK THE MENU BEFORE ORDERING. Would we stay there again? If we come back to Turkey a Big yes great apartments ,

  We have stayed at this hotel before but not on this visit. Previously the hotel was clean and perfect for a base to sleep. This time we only used the pool and poolside bar/restaurant. The staff here are amazing, especially Rambo! He can’t do enough to make you happy. Food is good and all comes from the restaurant attached to the hotel - Papillon. Great English breakfasts and bacon batches on Turkish bread. Pool is clean and is open to anyone.   Terrible service on arrival basically had key thrown at us and told us what floor we where on... get charged if stain on towels or sheets or pillow cases. Room bedding and towels done twice aweek. Don't give u toilet rolls have to buy ur own. Shower seal rubbish leaks all over the floor. Air conditioning £120 for 2 weeks. We would like to clarify a few points mentioned: bed linen and towels are changed in every 3 days in order to reduce water waste to reduce our carbon footprint. Air conditioning is an optional extra service charged at a set weekly rate. We as a facility providing toilet paper you did't have to buy you just need to request it from reception . We are fixing each and every broken stuff inside or outside rooms within an hour if our customers mention, so we are really sorry that you didn't mention any damage about seal rubbish leak. We always aim to provide a welcoming atmosphere and clear communication, so it’s disappointing to know we fell short.We wish you a good day.

  We went as a family of seven who had originally booked for another hotel but found out that they didn’t have a lift and that we were going to be put on an upper floor.So we decided to stay at the Tekin and what a great decision that was. We had two very large apartments opposite each other, the storage was good, the bed was comfortable.The cleanliness was great and the staff all friendly.The cooking facilities were the usual ones in turkey. A two ring hob and a toaster.There was a large saucepan and a large frying pan (that was definitely not non stick) but we managed to make some basic meals on nights that we were too tired to eat out.The price at the restaurant below was reasonable and the food good.The location of this hotel is fantastic. On arrival I thought omg we are overlooking the main road and I was worried about the noise but it was fine as we kept the doors closed and the air conditioning on (it’s £10 a night) it’s only available in the living room but I always pack a cheap plug in fan.You do have to buy your own toilet roll but we have experienced that in other hotels.The sun beds at the pool are a little too close to each other and the pool is not the largest but the kids absolutely loved it.The price for food and drinks are more expensive than last year but that’s the same in the UK.The price of the fakes are around the same but you have to learn to be a good haggler.Overall we had an outstanding holiday and would definitely stay at the Tekin again.Our top tip would be to shop around for a boat trip. We paid £15 for an adult, £7.50 each for a 14yr and 12yr old and got the 9yr & 7yr for free ! This was to Turunc. This included pick up, food and soft drinks.
