  Verde hotel, 7 night stay

  Spent 1 week here as a solo traveller, have to say it was value for money. Its a five minute walk to the beach and central to everything you need in icmeler, granted it is a small resort.Room was adequate and cleaned daily with fresh towels, bottled water and Turkish tea. Air conditioning and use of safe included without additional charge.Definitely an older clientele staying which was not a big surprise as it is an adults only hotel.I've stayed in several all inclusive hotels and the food choice has been superb, verde hotel options were limited though and duplicated over my 7 day stay. Dont get me wrong you won't starve and you have more than 1 buffet option but not much more than that, main course option was chicken, fish, pasta, turkey most days with a variation daily on how it was prepared (different sauce).Special mention to Svetlana on reception, always polite and helpful.In short, would I return, yes I would. Its not the best but it's not the worst, it didn't cost the most or the least. Did I get what I paid for, yes I belive I did so in that respect I'm a satisfied customer.

  The Verde Hotel is in a fabulous location, close to everything from bars,shops,restaurants & the beach, staff friendly but a little aloof,rooms are small & balconies just about fit 1 person,2 is a very tight fit. The hotel is kept very clean & tidy rooms cleaned everyday, but as I said very small. The worst thing unfortunately is the food, the menu (or lack of) needs a serious review as all inclusive goes this is the worst I have ever stayed at & it let's the hotel down, we unfortunately ate out most days, when there was something edible it was cold! no heaters to keep food warm. Pool very nice but again most sunbeds u der shade? we actually come for the sun! Would we stay again? If they sorted the food issue, then yes we would stay again, just don't see the point of paying all inclusive & not eating.

  The best and only thing about this hotel is location. There’s no atmosphere the staff are miserable and ignorant. I think the room was ok but the floors on the balcony and in the room are filthy. There’s a chunk of black human hair on the balcony goodness knows how long it’s been there. We came on the 11th September for one week (thank god) and our room has not been cleaned. Luckily I saw a cleaner and had to ask for fresh towels. It’s not worth the money they say a four star hotel it’s definitely not. I’d say three or less. It can be noisy at night from the surrounding bars . There are no amenities only a filthy pool and pool area which have never been cleaned like most of the hotel. The food is repetitive and not very good. It says mini bar in your room all you get is a bottle of water . Not much choice at the bar either . It’s very dirty and scruffy outside the hotel with overflowing bins . The disabled ramps are dangerously steep you will be lucky if anyone can push a wheelchair up one. It took me all my time to try and walk up it. They do not cater for the disabled. The lift only fits four people in and it’s very slow. Be careful the door shuts before you get chance to get in/ out

  All inclusive letdown

  Stayed early September with 2 other couples . Had a great time in Icmeler but not really in the hotel . The positives of the hotel are its location , being close to many fine bars and restaurants. The staff are ok , just don’t have the same warmth as the waiters in the local bars . The rooms are ok and the air conditioning is very welcome in the extreme heat . We booked on an all inclusive basis and to be honest it’s not fit for purpose . The drinks are poor , weak lager and vodka and are served at the only bar which is poolside . Now here’s the problem . Poolside contains about 8 beds which are directly in the sun whilst the rest are under a shaded area . Unless you are a very early riser you’ve no chance of securing a sunbed actually in the sun whilst. So even if the drinks were half decent you would have to sit at a table by the bar . Me and the group I was with opted to use the Blues brothers bar across the road from the hotel where there were plenty of sunbeds by their superior outside pool and a great variety of inexpensive drinks . Like I say though this defeated the point of being all inclusive.The food was equally poor and again we all ate out most mornings and evenings . Cheap breakfasts of decent quality can be found at many local restaurants. Connected to the hotel is the Red Lion pub which offers 10% discount to hotel residents . If this pub is owned by the hotel they would be better served using this for the all inclusive. All in all I’d say the main reason for choosing this hotel would be the location but if you do don’t go for the AI option , just is not worth it .Icmeler is beautiful though and I will definitely be back , just not to this hotel.

  Lovely atmosphere

  First class location, variety of food available and menu changed daily. Stayed in room 507 excellent panoramic view of all Icemeler sun on balcony all day.room cleaned and tidied everyday and water replenished daily, pool was lovely sun beds available all day and no nonsense with towel layers, also loads of tables and chairs around if shade needed.staff well the only thing I found was excellent service from management,reception,dining,poolside cleaning and all staff nothing was too much trouble for them to help your stay, nice bar called red lion in the same building was really good for meals sport karaoke etc,gave you 10% off bill if you stayed at the verde,price wise really good, atmosphere was so laid back in and around the hotel made the holiday,everything you need within short walking distance,Mini market, beach , canal, local trip bookings , although I didn’t use the hotel spa the feedback I received from fellow travelers was impressive.due to disibility issues nothing was too much trouble for the staff Well done staff and manager at the verde,
