  Our experience with Panagia Premier was extremely disappointing and stressful. We arrived at the hotel with a voucher showing a confirmed reservation for two rooms for three nights, only to be told at reception that there was no reservation for us in their system and that no rooms were available.Our travel agency contacted multiple suppliers to try to resolve the issue, but no confirmed booking could be located. We were left stranded at night and had to urgently arrange and pay for another hotel ourselves.What made the situation even worse was the poor customer service and the way guests were treated. The staff were unhelpful and showed very little concern for people facing serious reservation problems. We also witnessed other guests experiencing booking-related issues and appearing similarly stranded.Regardless of where the booking failure occurred, the way the situation was handled by the hotel was unacceptable. Guests arriving with confirmed vouchers should be treated professionally and assisted in finding a solution, not simply left to deal with the problem themselves.Overall, this was a very stressful and disappointing experience. Based on both the reservation issue and the poor service we received, I cannot recommend this hotel.

  Double charged for accommodation and still awaiting partial refund

  We usually try avoid international hotel chains and so chose the Panagia when in Trabzon. However the downside can be that the financial transactions of smaller organisations can be hugely problematic. We stayed at the hotel having paid in advance for the accommodation. However the hotel having taken my credit card details for any expenses, then charged me again at a higher rate for the accomodation. After pointing this out during our stay, the hotel assured me I would quickly be refunded. Two weeks later I was refunded a lower amount. After multiple emails, a number of which were ignored, Panagia agreed to refund me the difference. Since then I have been given various promises and excuses for delays and yet nine months later still have not received the payment. My latest email was returned mentioning that the hotel’s inbox is too full and my message did not arrive. That this hotel is considered five star astonishes me. I advise anyone staying to carefully monitor your financial details.

  A Hotel or a Party Venue?

  I stayed at this hotel for five nights. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center while being relatively away from the busiest areas, making it easy to access.The room was spacious, clean, and serviced daily. However, it did not offer any view. The breakfast was good and provided a reasonable variety of options.The breakfast staff, however, were not particularly attentive or efficient. For example, they would ask what you would like to drink, but when you ordered tea or coffee, they often forgot to bring it. Omelet orders were frequently delivered to the wrong guests, and similar mistakes occurred regularly. Management supervision in the restaurant appeared to be insufficient.My main issue with this hotel was its event hall. During four of the five nights of my stay, loud music and heavy bass from events held at the hotel could be clearly heard in my room, which was extremely disturbing. Every time I contacted the front desk, I was simply told that an event was in progress and that I would have to wait until it ended.These events also created parking problems for hotel guests. On one occasion, we had to park about 500 meters away because all parking spaces were occupied, even though on-site parking is advertised as one of the hotel’s amenities.Overall, a hotel is a place where guests come to rest and relax, and listening to loud music until 11:30 p.m. is far from enjoyable. I am actually surprised that none of the previous reviews mentioned this issue. Had I known about it beforehand, I would not have booked this hotel.

  Unprofessional and Rude Customer Service – A Disappointing Experience at a So-Called 5-Star Hotel

  I stayed at this hotel recently, expecting 5-star service, but instead, I encountered shockingly unprofessional behavior from the staff. Upon checking out, I was rudely accused of damaging the TV remote, which had missing arrow buttons. I hadn’t even bothered to report the remote the night before, as I was tired, and it was still functional. However, the front desk employee aggressively claimed that the remote was in perfect condition and suggested I had caused the damage, speaking to me in a disrespectful and accusatory tone.When I politely asked him to lower his voice and address me professionally, his response was, "If I didn’t lower my voice, what would you do?"—a statement that made me feel more like I was dealing with a street gang member than a hotel employee. This type of hostile and unprofessional conduct is completely unacceptable, especially at an establishment that claims to be 5-star.As a paying guest, I expect courteous and respectful treatment, but instead, I was met with hostility and disrespect. I will not be returning to this hotel, and I strongly advise future guests to think twice before booking a stay here. Customer service should be a top priority in any hotel, especially one that advertises itself as luxurious.A deeply disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for professionalism and quality service.
