Our stay was underwhelming at best. For a highly exclusive 5-star resort, pool and beach service was effectively non existent. Servers rarely came around, looked bored and generally were not welcoming. Recommendations to outside restaurants are not vetted and resulted in nights lost to taxiing around the island looking for somewhere to have a meal. It’s difficult the comprehend the amount of money they charge to stay here when the service is so poor. While the resort has a few employees who stand out (Mon, Delores, Carla, Louis to name a few) the rest of the staff leave a lot to be desired - including the GM Christopher and front desk attendees (Olivia and Khadejah), who are not only unprofessional, unhelpful but lacked any accountability for bad recommendations and bad service. After a particularly terrible restaurant recommendation, Olivia told us the hotel would give us a resort fee for a night wasted in taxis running around the island plus covering of our meal - but when we went to check out, we were told by the GM that was not the case and we should be grateful for the resort fee at all (which they “never do”) because the “hotel does not take any responsibility for the quality of the restaurants they recommend” because they “recommend hundreds.” The website boasts a beach which is non existent - seaweed or no seaweed. The beach is so small that beach chairs can’t fit. They are instead placed in the long grass just above the beach. And there is no service whatsoever. The food onsite is generally average - it’s not bad but it’s on par with most average restaurants in the US. Not what you would expect at a resort of this caliber that charges exponential prices for food, drinks, and bottled water. The Palms boasts a much larger and nicer beach and exceptional service (and slightly better food). It’s no wonder we met multiple families and couples who moved there after just a few hours at The Shore Club. I regret that we did not do the same.

Amazing Vacation

We’ve been to the Shore Club in Turks many times, and each visit has been a wonderful vacation. The property is always spotless, the food is excellent, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. The turquoise water is absolutely beautiful, and the entire atmosphere is relaxing and first-class.A special thank you to Carla (Concierge) and her assistant , who went above and beyond to make my husband’s 80th birthday unforgettable by arranging a birthday cake for him. Their thoughtfulness and kindness meant so much to us and made our celebration extra special.What more could you ask for? We look forward to returning again and again.

Our trip was fabulous - from the arrival, concierge coordination, butler, and villa. We had such a wonderful experience. Our butler, Khem, was the best we’ve ever had - communicative, timely, and very thoughtful. He had custom coffees made for our entire group every morning, escorted us around the property and helped coordinate with our drivers. The villa itself was beautiful and up to date with gorgeous views, amenities, cleaning service and access to the hotel. Nice appliances and grill but slightly limited in cooking utensils (cookie sheet, spatula, service spoons). The location is on a quieter but windier side, so we stayed cool and were not with lots of crowds on grace bay. They also cleaned minimal seaweed every morning from the beach.The gym had everything needed, nice natural light and a beautiful lap pool. It was never crowded. The spa was small and the waiting area a bit hot, but was a lovely massage service. We visited the sister property, the Palms and had lunch by the pool, that quality of food and options were better than the pool side food at the Shore club. The restaurant staff at both sometimes seemed slow, slightly uninterested or did not regularly check in during meals. All in all, we are a well traveled family and had an amazing experience thanks to the property, our butler, and the concierge plans!

Having just completed a three-night stay at the Shore Club as part of a corporate President's Club recognition trip, I can offer a thorough and balanced assessment of this highly regarded property.AccommodationsOur standard room on the fourth floor provided comfortable, well-appointed quarters with pool views. The bathroom was notably spacious, featuring a soaking tub positioned near the bed with the option of privacy doors. The private deck offered a pleasant outdoor retreat, though the lack of overhead coverage made it unusable during rain. The shared entry corridor between adjoining rooms is worth mentioning, as noise from neighboring guests, particularly a heavy closing door, was occasionally disruptive.Pool FacilitiesThe property features three distinct pool areas. The main pool, situated near the dining venues, had a relaxed and social atmosphere that we enjoyed throughout our stay. A second pool with a swim-up bar offered a livelier setting with ocean views close by. The third is an adults-only pool with an attached hot tub, which was well suited for quiet relaxation. The one drawback here was the lack of poolside drink service, requiring guests to walk over to another pool area.BeachThe beachfront is without question one of the Shore Club's greatest strengths. The water was crystal clear, the sand immaculately maintained, and we saw no seaweed during our entire visit. The shoreline stays wonderfully shallow, making it comfortable for all types of swimmers, and the on-site beach bar was a convenient and welcome touch.DiningLunch at Colonnade was a genuine highlight. The food was excellent across the board, with the sushi bento boxes being a particular standout.
