I had an absolutely amazing experience at the Serena Kampala Hotel from April 8–13. Words truly cannot describe how professional, warm, and attentive the staff are. From the moment I arrived, everything ran smoothly, and the level of service was outstanding. This is not just a hotel—it genuinely feels like home. In fact, it feels like something more than that. I would like to give special recognition to Rosemary, who was exceptional. She surprised us with champagne on our wedding night, a gesture that touched us deeply and showed how much care and attention the staff put into their guests’ experiences.The room cleanliness was immaculate, and the room service, laundry service, and overall comfort exceeded expectations. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast and food selection are excellent, and the pool area is clean and well maintained.Serena Kampala Hotel truly feels like a resort surrounded by greenery, right in the middle of the city. The hotel was fine, the staff were quite pleasant. I was a little surprised at the house cleaning. This is being nitpicky, but instead of replacing the towels when they refreshed our room, they just left them hanging over the door. The Lakes restaurant was so-so. The gym was really nice, it actually made me want to work out after sitting on my lazy butt for the last 15 years. What really made this place shine was the most amazing massage in the world. Enid and Christine were fantastic and if we had stayed longer, we probably would have gone back every day! Six out of five stars for those two!
