    Amazing Staff

    At the outset of the Iran war I was stranded in Abu Dhabi for 5 days. The airline put me up at the Downtown Marriott Abu Dhabi. The friendliness and compassion of the entire hotel staff made a huge difference to me during my stay. Everyone went there extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed. I especially want to give a big shoutout to Smile on the housekeeping staff. She was warm and friendly and went beyond the call of duty to make me feel welcome. On my last day at the hotel she b right me a caramel macchiato from Starbucks because she knew I was feeling very stressed about the difficulties evacuating from the UAE. I also want to single out the concierge, Boaz, for his assistance in arranging transportation to Oman where I was able to arrange transportation back to the US. The food at the Kuzbara restaurant was delicious and the waitstaff was very attentive. Overall, the hotel staff made me feel like a VIP!

    Its always a pleasure staying at the Marriot Downtown, from the time you check in at the reception, Concierge service, housekeeping and room service, all wonderful personal. Best of all are the staff at the breakfast service namely Sandhya, Rayan, Abdul, Marry,Icta, Anamika, Glanda, Sayida, Carlo & Aveshik who make my morning bright & beautiful with their smile & service, lastly compliments to the chefs for whipping a yummy spread.

    We really enjoyed staying at the Marriott downtown. It was at a great location. The Ubers would come within one minute. The food at the rooftop was fabulous and the view was spectacular. The staff was super nice. There is an executive lounge, but we did not get that. There is a Starbucks in the lobby where you can get your coffee and pastries. They do have a buffet breakfast, but I did not get that package. There is a beautiful rooftop, indoor pool and a spa where you can use their steam room and sauna every day. I did end up getting a massage on the last day by Toto and she was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend it. The rooms were pretty large and the bathroom was very spacious. Very clean hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

    I stayed here while attending a retail Conf. at Emirates Palace.
