    My stay at Hampton Inn, Bloomington was extremely valuable, not only due to the location, but because of a particularly staff member - Michael! His demeanor was calm and he was extremely attentive. If you're looking for a great location near campus with friendly staff - go ask for Michael!     Filthy , moldy horrible management

    This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property was absolutely filthy and there was visible mildew and mold throughout, including in the vents. The walls were dirty, the bathrooms were disgusting, and there was chipped paint and signs of neglect everywhere. It felt completely unsanitary and poorly maintained.The smell was overwhelming. There was a strong, musty, moldy odor that actually gave me a migraine, and it was obvious they were trying to cover it up with heavy amounts of Fabuloso, which only made it worse.To make matters worse, the general manager, Tiffany, was extremely unprofessional. When I tried to address my concerns, she was dismissive and actually hung up on me. I was told by Helen and honor that the manager had authority to refund me and if my experience is so unsatisfactory, she most likely will, but she didn’t. She had a power trip . After speaking with multiple other guests (at least 10), I realized this wasn’t an isolated experience many people had similar complaints about both the conditions and the way management handles issues.I later found out the hotel is operated through a third party, which honestly explains a lot about the lack of accountability and poor standards.     Stay at our Hotel, get towed!

    Stayed on a Friday night leading into a college visit at IU on Saturday. Woke up Saturday morning and my car was towed. APparently this is the con they run with the local tow company. If you forget to put in your parking pass, they tow your car, and it's $300 to get it back. They don't take any record of your car at check in to prevent this from happening.     Great price great stay!

    We ended up in Bloomington on our way to Knoxville. We have had consistent luck with Hampton’s so stopped and we were in luc- they still had a room! Room was nice, clean and quiet. They gave us a parking permit at check in and there were very clear signs all over the building, doors and parking lot — even on ice machine- to make sure you had it hanging or else you would get towed. The hotel is 4 blocks from the football stadium, so undoubtedly they get folks trying to park and hit a game. Darren was our front desk employee and he was fun, kind, efficient! Shout out!
