  I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The reception staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any questions or requests. The accommodation was comfortable, quiet, and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax after a long day.The hotel offers free parking, which is very convenient, and its location is excellent—close to many attractions and places of interest. The room was spacious, clean, and provided plenty of space for a comfortable stay.There are only a few areas that could be improved. Firstly, the air conditioning takes some time to cool the room, especially during the summer months. Keeping the curtains closed during the day is necessary to prevent the room from becoming too warm especially before guest 1st check in.Secondly, the television should be upgraded as a priority. Replacing it with a Smart TV would greatly enhance the guest experience, as the current channel selection is quite limited and can become boring during longer stays. This is something that Rotana need to improve drastically, including those in Kuwait, may wish to review.Overall, I had an enjoyable stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to others.   Celebrating Eid with a Relaxing Family Staycation

  ## Overall Rating: 8.5/10We decided to celebrate Eid a little early this year through a relaxing family staycation, and overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience filled with beautiful views, good food, and quality family bonding moments.## Concierge – 5/10The concierge service could still be improved. The staff were not as cheerful and welcoming as expected. Guests should ideally be greeted warmly upon entering the hotel, and assistance should proactively be offered whenever needed. A more engaging and hospitable approach would create a better first impression for arriving guests.## Front Desk and Check-in Process – 9/10The front desk experience was very pleasant. The Filipino staff who assisted us during check-in was welcoming, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. He provided us with a beautiful room on the top floor with an excellent view, which we truly appreciated. He also accommodated our request for a late check-out, allowing us to maximize and enjoy our stay even more. His hospitality definitely made a positive impact on our experience.## Room – 8/10The room itself was comfortable, clean, and well-organized with complete amenities and toiletries readily available, which we appreciated. We also noticed the hotel’s sustainability efforts through the use of refillable bottled water and eco-friendly paper packaging for toiletries, which is commendable.The room offered a great view and overall ambiance; however, there are still some areas for improvement. The room scent upon entry was not very pleasant, and perhaps the use of a mild air freshener or improved ventilation could help enhance the guest experience. My wife has dust allergies, and shortly after entering the room she experienced sneezing and allergic rhinitis symptoms, which may indicate that additional dust control or deeper cleaning may be needed.We also noticed that there was no safety deposit box available inside the room, which is usually expected for convenience and security. Additionally, the following morning, some of the room lights were not functioning immediately when switched on. We assume this may be part of an energy-saving feature.## Amenities – 8/10### PoolThe rooftop pool was one of the highlights of our stay. The view was beautiful, especially during sunset, and the shaded atmosphere in the evening made it very relaxing. We particularly enjoyed the fountain feature in the pool area, and my daughter had a wonderful time swimming.However, there was an unfortunate incident where one of my daughter’s playmates sustained a wound near the edge of the pool, possibly around the bulb area. We recommend having this section inspected for guest safety. On a positive note, the lifeguard responded immediately and professionally by bringing the first aid kit and attending to the situation promptly.### GymThe gym facility was excellent. It was spacious, complete with equipment, and not overcrowded during the morning hours when we used it. It was perfect for routine workouts and exercise.### Steam and SaunaThe steam room and sauna were both operational and functioning well during our stay. Although the area was relatively small, it was peaceful and not crowded at the time, which made the experience relaxing. There was also a quiet relaxation area that added to the calming atmosphere.One observation, however, was that two older children were using the steam and sauna facilities despite restrictions. Thankfully, staff members approached and stopped them appropriately to maintain safety compliance.## Dinner – 9/10We had dinner at Saffron Restaurant, and it was one of the best parts of our stay. The ambiance was elegant and relaxing, with plenty of seating options available. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made sure guests were properly accommodated.The food selection was impressive with a wide variety of dishes available. Everything we tried was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. We definitely left the restaurant very satisfied and full.## Breakfast – 8/10We also had the brekfast at Saffron Restaurant. Breakfast was enjoyable overall. While there were a few specific menu selections we were hoping to see that were unavailable, the overall food quality and variety were still good, especially considering the hotel’s four-star category.The dining atmosphere remained pleasant, and the staff continued to be attentive and accommodating throughout the breakfast service.
