Location

The hotel is located in the legendary Liwa Desert in the Empty Quarter, the largest uninterrupted sand desert in the world. Abu Dhabi International Airport is approximately 194 km from the hotel.

The complex has a lift and features 206 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine attention to detail were evident throughout our stay.A very special mention to Lahiru, who was nothing short of exceptional. He is truly outstanding and, without doubt, one of the best butlers we have had the pleasure of meeting. His attentiveness, anticipation of our needs, and heartfelt hospitality made our stay incredibly comfortable and personal.I would also like to commend the Front Office and Housekeeping teams for their impeccable standards and meticulous attention to detail.     Memorable stay at an iconic resort

    We had an incredible time at Qasr Al Sarab. A true gem, set amidst the most stunning landscape - a must visit for anyone who hasn’t visited yet. The team at the property including our host Yassine were excellent, extremely courteous and ensured my family and I had the most comfortable stay. Breakfast had a good spread and the team was highly accommodating to make customized items that were off the menu. Rooms are comfortable and maintained well by the housekeeping. Buggies were very efficiently managed and handled by a a professional and friendly team that added to our positive experience.

    Wonderful experience at Qasr al Sarab. The villa with pool had an incredible view on the dunes, the food was delicious, the spa treatments were amongst the best I’ve had and everyone working on site were very friendly and helpful. When it was time to leave, our car was ready with three bottle of cold water. Special thank you to our butler Yassine Kchirid for his precious help over the weekend.

    I’m writing this review while the emotions are still fresh — our family has just returned from a truly unforgettable weekend at this hotel, and I can say with full sincerity: this is one of the most impressive stays we’ve had.The hotel has absolutely won our hearts, and we will definitely be returning guests.From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that every detail has been carefully thought through — from the architecture and interior design to the genuinely warm and attentive service. The setting is simply breathtaking: located in the heart of the desert, surrounded by stunning reddish dunes. The views from the villa are mesmerizing and stay with you long after you leave.We stayed in a villa with a private pool, and I would especially like to highlight our butler, Yassine. He was outstanding — always available, proactive, and consistently going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. This level of personal attention truly elevates the entire experience.The dining experience was equally impressive. The hotel offers several restaurants, each delivering high-quality cuisine. Breakfasts were excellent, with both buffet and à la carte options. Lunches and dinners were consistently at a very high level. What stood out in particular was the presence of the Director of Restaurants, Alessandro Italiano, who personally greets guests and ensures that service standards are maintained across all venues. His involvement and attention to detail are remarkable.Another standout aspect is the personalized service. The staff frequently addressed us by name, creating a genuine feeling of individual care and attention.The hotel offers a wide range of activities. While it’s impossible to try everything in a short stay, we chose Dune Bashing (soft drive), and it was an unforgettable experience. A perfect activity for families with children — exciting yet very safe. Our guide, Nassir, was highly professional and made the experience both thrilling and comfortable. He later mentioned he has been doing this for over 12 years, which clearly shows in his confidence and skill.Our children also loved the kids club — it appears recently renovated, and the staff were warm, caring, and engaging.The villa itself was impeccably maintained and equipped with everything one could need.Overall, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the entire hotel team — from reception to housekeeping, from chefs to waiters — for delivering such an outstanding and memorable stay.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxury desert escape with exceptional service.
