    The Pool is nice and has a great Restaurant as well. I went everyday to the Gym which is huge and has everything you need. Except an Abwheel.The Restaurant at the Lobby has a great Lunch Buffet which has a great value for the Money. Also the Breakfast and Dinner Buffet are awesome.The room was very clean with a comfy bed. The only thing that bothered me was the music they play in public areas. During the first days it was OK but it can be enoying during a longer stay.However, also the staff is excellent!I stayed here 8 nights and have to say that the location is excellent. If you like running you can take 2 underpasses and you can run down along the seaside. Going to the City is also easy and there are a lot of nice Restaurants.     Amazing hotel and even better staff 🫡🙌

    Firstly I have to say that I am not the easiest man to please. I am blessed to have travelled around the world in the most luxurious and best hotels.Some things were not right when I arrived and I was not very impressed BUT the management especially Kirlos have been amazing. Fixed every problem and then upgraded me to amazing suite for free for my troubles. I am here now during a war in the region but have not felt it by the amazing service and dedication of the hotel staff to really take care of us and keep us safe. Travelling with my children is never an easy time but the hotel have been amazing. The hotel has picked up the bill for an extra week we have to stay here due to all flights being cancelled. Thats amazing 👏 They have changed the food for us so we dont get bored even when its a buffet.They have truly gone above and beyond and for that alone it is the No.1 hotel for me in Abu Dhabi.Real honest review.     WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

    I am a digital nomad, I’ve been to 50+ hotels in the last couple of years and Sofitel managed to be the worst experience ever.Room Quality:The furniture is old and overall falling apart. The shower is covered in mold from the top to the bottom, as pictures show. I had better experiences in 1 star hotels…AC and room temperature:We arrived during the evening from a cold country, in February. Abu Dhabi can be chill during the night. The hotel DOES NOT HAVE any heating option, as the staff explained to us. They centrally control what the temperature is in the rooms and they don’t offer portable heaters. In the rooms you can technically control the fan strength. We had to buy a portable heater for ourselves, because we were very cold in our room. (Yes, in the middle of the desert this hotel managed to achieve that.) Breakfast: While the offered variable breakfast the quality, especially the meat quality was questionable. The cheapest chicken hams available, and undercooked beef bacon. They said the hotel offers non halal food, but that was obviously a lie. We bought better quality meat in the grocery store nearby. Staff (THE WORST PART):My fiance got sick and couldn’t come down to breakfast. I wanted to bring two croissants up with butter and a senior staff member started to YELL at me in front of everyone that I cannot do such a thing, and my fiance either comes down or he can order for EXTRA COSTS room service. We paid 17EUR for his breakfast and it was denied from us. Offering zero solution to the fact that he was sick, and the old man just kept yelling at me in front of guests and other staff members. I felt horrible. The emergency situation because of the war:We went down every single day to ask about our options after the war broke out. We had to face complete ignorance and incompetence. The staff’s only goal was to cut the conversation short instead of actually giving advice. The manager promised to give me a call back a day ago but I guess Iran will sooner stop bombing us. The only positive I can point out is some junior staff member’s kindness.
