    I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay at Barceló Al Jaddaf. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standards I would expect from a hotel operating under the Barceló brand.To begin with, several essential items in my room were not functioning. The in-room telephone did not work, and neither did the TV remote. This left me unable to contact the front desk from my room. I then attempted to call the hotel directly from my mobile phone, but I was unable to reach anyone despite multiple attempts.While this was already frustrating, the situation escalated further. At approximately 1:45 AM, I went down to the front desk in person to request two pairs of slippers, three bottles of water, and assistance with fixing the TV remote.What should have been a simple and routine request turned into a prolonged and exhausting ordeal. I had to go down to the front desk four separate times to follow up, as nothing was being delivered or addressed. The request was not fully completed until 3:40 AM—nearly two hours later.This level of service is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel that presents itself as a 5-star property. The lack of responsiveness, urgency, and basic guest support reflects very poorly on the property’s management and operations.I would appreciate it if this matter is taken seriously and investigated. At a minimum, I expect an explanation for this experience, along with appropriate corrective measures to ensure future guests do not encounter similar issues.

    Had a really nice time at B-Heaven Restaurant.     During my stay, I encountered an issue with my reservation, as my request and confirmation were not properly communicated by travel agent. Fortunately, upon arrival, I was assisted by Manager Ayas, who handled the situation with great professionalism.He was incredibly patient, attentive, and solution-oriented, dedicating several hours to resolving the matter. Thanks to the outstanding service provided, I would gladly choose this hotel again. It’s comforting to know that such dedicated professionals are part of the team.The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spacious, and located in a very convenient area. The food was also excellent. I highly recommend this property for both comfort and exceptional service.     Noisy due to construction and could have been a lot better

    Location: Was very close to the airport but we did spend a lot of time travelling in taxis as was a bit further out from the palm and other places of interest than we had expected.There was a lot of construction going on around and inside the hotel so was noisy most of the time and over night. Service:Breakfast was very poor, they seemed to run out of food, cups etc quickly. Coffee machines kept breaking down. Not much choice of food. Very little fruit. Fried breakfast but beans were mostly sauce, scrambled eggs watery and they can’t make fried eggs properly. Rooms don’t seem to get cleaned or towels changed unless you ask for it daily. Requested some clean towels as we were due to go out and it took them 45 minutes. I had to call and go down to reception and they just kept saying they would be sending them up straight away.Pool:Pool area was very small, only a few sun loungers so you had to be up early to get one. Very little sun in the pool, not sure if it was just the time of year but the buildings seemed to block most of it. Lifeguard was very helpful and friendly. Gym:Gym was quiet, had enough equipment to do what was needed. I’ve been to a Barcelo hotel before in Dubai but it was on a different level to this one. I wouldn’t go back to this hotel again.     On the first day of our stay, there was a wedding event at the hotel, and very loud music was played until 11:30 p.m., which made it extremely difficult to fall asleep.The room did not appear to be properly prepared for our arrival — there was dust on the floor and inside the wardrobes. The booking description mentioned toiletries, but apart from shower caps in the bathroom, nothing else was provided.
