    I was shocked by the attitude and behavior of Mahesh during my stay. The pool area has only two parasols available for all guests, which makes it very normal and necessary to apply sunscreen to avoid getting sunburned. I applied sunscreen and, before entering the pool, I took a proper shower to rinse off — exactly as one should.However, Mahesh suddenly pulled me out of the pool and told me that anyone who applies sunscreen, even after showering, is not allowed to swim. I explained that there were too few parasols and that without sunscreen I would get burned, but he simply responded that this was my problem. I found this extremely unprofessional and upsetting.Other guests around the pool also felt that his behavior was unacceptable. This experience left a very negative impression and significantly affected my stay.

    Fantastic service at this hotel, cleaners and all front of house staff were super helpful and pleasant (even when I kept forgetting my key). Like to say a special thank you to Nafley, Waleed and Crourav who were always friendly and willing to help. Hotel is comfortable clean, has a good gym and is located ideally near local amenities. Would recommend!

    I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The property is well located, with many attractions within easy reach. While the metro station requires a short walk, the nearby bus stop provided an excellent alternative and made getting around the city simple.The staff were attentive and welcoming, and I would particularly like to acknowledge Sudip & Jay and nischal for their professionalism and kindness. Their support added greatly to the quality of my experience.Overall, I found the hotel to be comfortable, well situated, and supported by a dedicated team. I would be happy to recommend it to other travelers.

    The Worst hotel in Dubai

    I stayed at City Avenue Hotel from February 26 to 28, 2025, and it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.First, the location is terrible—it’s in a very old area of Dubai, and it takes at least an hour just to get out of the area due to traffic and poor access. The parking gate was not working, and we had to wait over 30 minutes for the security and maintenance team to open another one.Inside the hotel, maintenance work was going on in the reception area, making the place noisy and messy with the construction work. On top of that, they took a 200 AED deposit at check-in, which was never mentioned before in the booking.The worst part was the constant noise. The hotel is near the airport, and the airplane noise was so loud that I couldn’t sleep for two nights straight. The traffic noise was just as bad—it felt like sleeping on the street.To make things even worse, the view was awful. There was nothing pleasant to look at, just an overall bad atmosphere.I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid it at all costs!
