    Worse ever stay

Complaint regarding service at CITY STAY PRIME HOTEL APARTMENT, Al Barsha, DubaiOn October 2, 2025, my wife and I checked into CITY STAY PRIME HOTEL APARTMENT in Al Barsha, Dubai. I had booked a 1-bedroom apartment through Booking.com, but for reasons unknown to me, this room type was not available, and we were instead given a 2-bedroom apartment. From the very beginning, we were met with unprofessional and rude behavior from the receptionist. While I was taking off my backpack and placing my belongings down, she asked me something in English. As I do not speak English, I politely replied, “One moment, madam.” Despite this, she raised her voice and insisted on knowing my name. I told her my name twice, but since she could not pronounce it correctly, I handed her my ID. In response, she rudely gestured for me to sit down and spoke in a very disrespectful tone.I chose not to argue and sat down quietly, but the receptionist continued speaking aggressively and shouted for my wife to provide her ID. We handed it over calmly, yet the disrespectful behavior continued. The situation escalated when my wife’s sisters came to visit us shortly after we checked in. At that point, the receptionist completely lost control. One of the sisters speaks English, so we asked her to help us communicate with the manager. The receptionist was very resistant, continued being rude, and initially refused to connect us. Only after several requests did she call the manager and spoke at length in Filipino before finally handing over the phone. We spoke to a manager named Fatima, who gave us permission for our guests to come in. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. Over the next few hours, the hotel staff repeatedly called our room and sent security to stand at the door, ringing the bell nonstop. The phone also rang multiple times. In the end, just to be left in peace and enjoy a quiet family dinner, we were forced to book and pay for a second room.Even after the payment, the interruptions continued. Staff members came to our room twice more—first to return the change, and then to deliver the keys for the second room. This all took place late at night, from our check-in at 10:00 PM until nearly 3:00 AM.I am shocked and deeply disappointed by the way we were treated. I never expected such disrespectful behavior in Dubai—a city known worldwide for its hospitality and high standards. This experience has seriously damaged the reputation of this hotel and casts a negative light on the city itself.

    TERRIBLE SERVICE

    rating02 Oct 2025

The hotel was completely disappointing. We booked an apartment for two, but at the reception we were met by an employee who didn’t even greet us and immediately behaved rudely. Her tone was harsh, her manner aggressive, and it even escalated to shouting. Moreover, she shouted that “guests are not allowed,” even though my sister just came to visit me. We didn’t even enter the room; we only saw each other in the lobby after a long time apart, but this still triggered the employee’s hysterics and aggressive outbursts. Such behavior is a disgrace for any hotel and an outright humiliation for guests.Additionally, the hotel itself leaves a very unpleasant impression: the lobby and elevator have a bad odor, it’s stuffy and hot, making it unbearable to stay there. The atmosphere is depressing, with no comfort or basic respect for visitors. This hotel embarrasses itself both in terms of staff and conditions. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone.City Stay Prime — the worst hotel in Dubai.

    Not recommended

    rating02 Oct 2025

This was the most terrible experiences I have ever had in a hotel. The receptionist behaved extremely rudely, with obvious irritation and disdain. She was disrespectful, made abrupt gestures, refused to call the manager, and responded to my requests in a mocking manner. Only after I insisted did she finally call, but she didn’t even introduce me, and then they demonstratively continued speaking in their own language, completely ignoring my presence. Such rudeness and humiliation are absolutely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. This hotel showed an extremely low level of service and a complete lack of respect for its guests. I strongly do not recommend it.

NEVER RETURN – staff was RUDE, refused us guests, disturbed at 3 AM, spoke in own language. Totally disrespectful!

NEVER COMING BACK HERE – THE STAFF IS RUDE AND DOES NOT RESPECT GUESTS.My sister flew to Dubai, and we live here. We just wanted to sit and spend time together, BUT WE WERE NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO DO THAT. At the reception, the girl met us RUDELY and immediately said that THE MANAGER WAS COMPLETELY UNAVAILABLE. We ASKED MANY TIMES, but she kept refusing, and only after 15 MINUTES of persistent and rude discussion did we MANAGE TO GET HER TO CALL THE MANAGER. When she called, it turned out the MANAGER WAS ACTUALLY THERE, but she SPOKE IN HER OWN LANGUAGE, not in English, even though we asked to communicate in an international language.Instead of proper communication – RUDENESS, DISAPPROVING LOOKS, and constant calls. We would have left after sitting peacefully for a while, but we were NOT ALLOWED TO DO EVEN THAT. At 3 AM, WE WERE DISTURBED: CALLS, ALARM TURNED ON, KNOCKING ON THE DOOR.They clearly knew that we DID NOT STAY AT THE HOTEL, and even the next day, they did not tell us to check out, since they knew we weren’t there. We had to book an ADDITIONAL ROOM for 4 people, even though there were only 3 of us, and we weren’t planning to stay overnight. Even after payment, we were not allowed to spend our time normally.I have been living in Dubai for 2 years and HAVE WORKED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE MYSELF – I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH ATTITUDE. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, NO RESPECT FOR GUESTS. The receptionist handed over to the next shift, and HE ALSO SPOKE TO US RUDELY. It all gives the impression that the staff ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY, not guests.COMPLETELY RUINED EXPERIENCE. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!
