    I had a lovely experience at the hotel thanks to Hannington from the concierge team. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was warm smile which made me feel instantly welcome he is very friendly professional and truly makes a difference in the overall experience

    We checked in at 1 a.m. and had to leave by 3 a.m. The air conditioning didn’t work and the shower was broken, making the room unusable.The manager was rude and unhelpful, and no proper solution was offered. Despite this, we were still charged for a full night.Completely unacceptable. Avoid.

    We arrived at Sofitel Jumeirah Beach on a Saturday morning after a long and exhausting flight, reaching the hotel around 11am. Unfortunately, the arrival experience was not ideal. We initially struggled to find a porter, and only after some time did a gentleman assist us with our luggage and guide us to the check-in area.At reception, only one staff member was assisting another guest, and we were asked to take a seat. After about 30 minutes, another staff member arrived to check us in. She seemed to notice our frustration with the delay, which was appreciated, but the wait itself felt unnecessary.Once we reached our room, the experience improved significantly. The room was fresh, well-furnished, and offered a beautiful view, which made a strong first impression. The television quality and channel selection were excellent, and both room service and housekeeping met expectations, with clean and well-maintained spaces throughout our stay. The minibar, however, required manual unlocking, which felt inconvenient. The bathroom and amenities were acceptable but slightly dated for a hotel of this standard.Where the hotel truly fell short was the restaurant buffet. The variety and presentation were disappointing and far below what one would expect from a five-star property. This was a noticeable weak point and detracted from the overall experience.The pool area, while pleasant, is quite small. That said, the bar and food service around the pool were good and added some enjoyment to the stay.Overall, while there are positive aspects—particularly the rooms and service in certain areas—the hotel does not fully deliver on a five-star experience, especially when it comes to food and beverage. There is likely better value to be found along JBR, particularly for dining options.

We truly appreciate the effort, creativity, and passion that went into preparing such an amazing meal. In addition, all the hotel staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our time, making the entire experience even more enjoyable and memorable.
