    Below Hyatt Standards – Disappointing Experience

    I recently stayed at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai with the intention of reconnecting with the Hyatt experience, having been a former World of Hyatt Globalist and a long-time supporter of the brand. Unfortunately, this stay was far below expectations.The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast experience. Service was extremely slow, with coffee taking around 30 minutes and an omelette delayed beyond 45 minutes despite multiple reminders. Basic buffet items were not adequately replenished, and the overall setup appeared unprepared for the number of guests.What was more concerning was the lack of floor supervision. There was no visible presence of senior staff to manage the situation or support the team, which seemed overwhelmed. Service recovery was also weak, with explanations that did not reflect ownership of the issue.Additionally, parking arrangements were unclear and inconvenient, adding to the overall frustration.This experience does not reflect the standards I associate with the Hyatt brand. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves operational planning, staffing, and guest experience.
