Location

This luxurious, breathtaking hotel is located in the heart of Dubai and is probably the most famous and expensive hotel in the world. At 321 m high, the Arabian Tower is the tallest on earth and the newest of Dubai City's landmarks. No other hotel can even come close to this luxurious accommodation, which is part of the Jumeirah Beach Resort complex, 15 km to the south of Dubai City. The unique, sail-shaped building stands proud on an artificial island about 280 m from the mainland and connected by a jetty. The hotel is a symbol of Dubai's wealth, and lies some 25 km from Dubai airport.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 28-storey building with a lift and 202 rooms. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry, a page service and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A welcome gift awaits guests. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio, a stereo system, a DVD player, a games console, a plug adapter and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

Plenty of active recreation awaits guests in the pool area's 4 outdoorpools. No matter the weather, swimming is always a possible in the indoor pool. There is also a special swimming area just for kids. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hotel offers outdoor sports, including tennis, beach volleyball and horse riding or, for a fee, golf. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, canoeing, sailing, snorkelling and diving. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing and banana boat rides. The hotel's location is particularly ideal for skiers. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, billiards, bowling, squash, yoga and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Guests can enjoy a range of leisure facilities and activities, including a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including 6 restaurants, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Half board is offered as a catering option. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Our stay at the Burj Al Arab was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome and everything was luxurious and thoughtfully curated. The suite was spacious, elegant, so different from anywhere I have stayed before, it didn’t feel like a hotel room at all, but more like a private residence in the sky.What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the level of service. The staff were incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, always anticipating our needs and making us feel genuinely valued. A special mention goes to Monique, who we spoke with at breakfast, she was warm, friendly, and incredibly informative, taking the time to make our morning even more enjoyable.Every detail of our stay reflected the hotel’s iconic reputation. We left feeling thoroughly pampered and already looking forward to our next visit.

    We booked a non refundable stay in the burj for this June. Yesterday I see on Facebook that they are closed for renovations. They didnt even contact me regarding it. When I reached out to them via email they offered me to stay in one of their sister hotels for the same price (the audacity to even suggest this I could not believe). Then they offered me a refund which I accepted. My issue is the total lack of regard they had for me and others like me who have planned their holidays with the intention of staying at the burj. They knowing made a desision that will negatively effect lots of peopleWho have reservations in the hotel. And also they never even offered a voucher or a discount of future stays due to the inconvenience they caused. Disgrace of a hotel service.
