The complex has a lift and features 245 rooms. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library.     During the military tensions involving Iran

    We stayed for seven nights at Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai and overall the hotel itself is truly exceptional. The property is elegant, luxurious and extremely well maintained. The rooms are beautiful, the cleanliness is impeccable and the facilities are exactly what you would expect from a high-end Kempinski property.One detail we particularly appreciated was that the hotel honored our request for a room on a higher floor with a partial view of Burj Khalifa. The view was wonderful and made our stay even more memorable. Throughout our stay, most members of the staff were professional, attentive and genuinely welcoming. In terms of comfort, atmosphere and service during the stay itself, everything was at a very high standard.However, our experience took an unexpected turn on the night when we discovered that our return flight had been cancelled due to the sudden closure of regional airspace caused by the escalating conflict in the Middle East and the military tensions involving Iran. Like many other travelers at that time, we suddenly found ourselves stranded in Dubai due to circumstances completely beyond our control.This happened shortly after midnight, in the night between February 28 and March 1, 2026. As guests who had just completed a seven-night stay at the hotel, we approached the reception hoping to extend our stay for a few more nights until we could leave the country.Unfortunately, the staff member on duty at the reception at that time (I did not catch his name) spoke to us in a surprisingly dismissive and rather arrogant tone. Instead of showing any understanding for the situation, he bluntly told us that continuing to stay would be “very expensive for you” and quoted a price of over 2100 AED per night without breakfast.Considering that we had just spent an entire week at the hotel and were dealing with an unexpected travel disruption caused by a regional security crisis, the attitude we encountered in that moment was disappointing and left a negative impression. Because of this interaction, we felt uncomfortable continuing the discussion and decided to move to another hotel that same night in order to secure accommodation, not knowing how long the airspace restrictions would last.Later, after several email exchanges with the reservations team at the hotel, we eventually received a much more reasonable offer that even included breakfast. By that time, however, we had already arranged alternative accommodation and eventually managed to leave the country after four additional nights.To be fair, aside from that unfortunate interaction with one reception staff member during a stressful moment, the hotel itself and the rest of the team were excellent. Our seven-night stay before the flight cancellation was truly enjoyable, and the property offers a very high standard of luxury, comfort and service.Overall, Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai remains a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, and most of the staff we encountered were outstanding. We only hope that in unexpected situations such as cancelled flights or regional emergencies, guests who have just completed a long stay might receive a little more empathy and flexibility at the reception desk.     A wonderful kick-off in the UAE

    Can feel the hospitality as soon as you enter the hotel. The room was spacious and the view was great. The staff were very warm and helpful, especially Maria at reception, who carefully introduced the facilities to us and showed us around the room. A female manager, whose name we can’t remember, was also helpful, assigning us a room on the highest floor possible.
