    Parking was tight. They have limited spots, but even in peak season, I didn't have a problem with finding one. Nice hotel. Room was also nice and good. The cleaning guy Chameera was always quick to respond to any request. Few small markets nearby, helpful in case some quick groceries are needed. Price was reasonable for the peak time we went there. We didn't check out the pool. There is a small window in the room. Wifi didn't really work in the room. Overall a nice stay, and no such complaints.

    Disappointing Experience at Kingsgate Canal

    ⭐☆☆☆☆Stayed at Kings Gate Canal Hotel from Monday to Wednesday, and unfortunately the experience was very poor.The water from the faucets was extremely hot, making it uncomfortable and unsafe to use. The iron malfunctioned and ruined my shirt, spilling water and leaving burn marks. The fridge was not working during the stay.When these issues were raised at checkout, the staff member showed no concern and said she would inform engineering, but did not take any notes or appear to follow up.There was no assistance with parking, so I had to park the car myself. The parking entrance door to the hotel was locked, forcing me to walk from the parking area to the lobby to ask someone to open it.Additionally, the spa staff member was rude, unhelpful, and dismissive when we asked about the facilities.Overall, poor maintenance, lack of service, and unprofessional staff made this a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel

    ⭐☆☆☆☆ (changed from 4⭐ to 1⭐ because of one incident)I stayed at Kinggate Canal Hotel for around 12 consecutive days during a business trip in Dubai. Initially, I was planning to leave a 4-star review for a 3-star hotel, as overall the stay met expectations for that category.The hotel was mainly used for sleeping at night, and to be fair:Housekeeping was very goodReception staff were generally helpful, although not all were fluent in English or very welcoming — which is acceptable for a 3-star hotelThe location suited my business needsHowever, my experience was seriously damaged by the poor attitude and lack of flexibility from management, specifically the duty manager named Sofyan.Issues faced:I requested a late check-out and was willing to pay half the daily room rate, but this was refused with no effort to help or explain alternatives. I ended up paying the full day rate through Booking.com even though I left the hotel at 4:00 AM.On my final night, I requested to keep my rental car in the hotel parking overnight, so the rental company could collect it early in the morning. Despite my 12-day consecutive stay, this was completely refused in a very rude manner.The duty manager’s response was: “I am the duty manager and this is against our policy, it is not safe.”I honestly don’t understand “safe from what” — this is Dubai.Ironically, the hotel parking itself is:Very overcrowded at nightAccommodates maybe 40% of guestsCars are parked everywhere due to limited spaceThat same night, another guest damaged my car, causing dents due to tight and careless parking. I chose not to open a police report.It’s disappointing that one employee’s attitude completely destroyed an otherwise decent stay. A little flexibility, respect, and customer care — especially for long-stay guests — would make a huge difference.Unfortunately, because of this experience, I changed my review from 4 stars to 1 star.

    disgusting cuisine and terrible staff, ordered pizza and were told to write the bill down to the room, these waiters or it is not clear who came to the room 7 times, asked to change dollars, did not accept at 12 o'clock at night, forced to go outside to change money!!! simply disgusting and awful I do not recommend staying here at all and especially ordering anything from food!!!!!!!😬😬😬never ever choose this hotel !!!!

    The hotel was very nice, and the room including the bathroom was exceptionally clean. ❤️❤️❤️ The bed was super comfortable, though I would suggest adding a few more pillows for our next stay. 🥺 I especially appreciated Akhil’s friendly service🤗 he made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A big thanks as well to Marwa, who assisted us during check-out and ensured our overall experience was pleasant. Overall, I truly enjoyed the entire experience.
