    Be very careful about paying in advance for this hotel

    I stayed at Landmark Hotel Baniyas Square from 5 March to 11 March 2026, and unfortunately I had a very stressful and unacceptable experience.Before arriving at the hotel, I paid three nights in advance through my travel agent. When I checked in on 5 March, I presented my paid booking voucher and everything seemed fine.However, on the morning of the third day of my stay, one of the customer service representatives, Tanu, called my room and asked me to come to the reception. When I arrived, she was very angry, nervous, and disrespectful. She started yelling at me and demanding that I pay again for the three nights, claiming that the hotel had not received the payment from my travel agent.Even though I showed proof that I had already paid, they kept me waiting at the reception for about six hours and insisted that I must pay again. I refused to pay twice for the same room and informed them that I would contact the Dubai Police if the issue was not resolved.After several hours, they finally checked their system again and admitted that the payment had already been received. Only then did they apologize.This situation caused serious stress and embarrassment, and no guest should be treated this way.⚠️ My advice to future travelers:Be very careful about paying in advance for this hotel through agents or online platforms. Make sure everything is clearly confirmed to avoid being asked to pay twice.

    My worst experience in life!

    Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The place was dirty, shabby, and smelled like a mix of mold, stale smoke, and something I don’t even want to identify. The carpets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years, the walls were stained, and the bedding made me question whether it had been washed at all.To make matters worse, the manager was not there and never bothered to reply my emails. nothing was done to address the obvious issues. This place should not be operating as a hotel in its current condition.I couldn’t stay even for one night and the hotel didn’t bother to issue the refund. Save your money, your health, and your peace of mind. This hotel is dirty, smelly, unsafe, and absolutely not worth the risk.

    Had a lovely stay at Landmark Hotel Baniyas. The staff were so kind and helpful, and I really appreciated how fresh and clean the linens and towels were—it made the room feel so welcoming. 💙

    We got a room here after waiting for 4 hours in the lobby although my husband had requested if we could have a room earlier as we had travelled whole night. Then although the room was apparently clean but only one hand towel. After a lot of trouble managed to switch kettle as figured out it worked when you placed it in one angle. There was no coffee and only tea and that too just 2 bags which had to suffice for evening and morning and we were 2 of us. But the worst was still to come. We used the flush for the commode and water started leaking- wastage of water - called reception and they assured it will be fixed once we were back. We came back after 4 hours neither the room was made up and nor the leakage was fixed. We found a staff on the floor told him and he said it would be done . Finally almost after a wait of 8 hours was fixed . It worked well for a day and again started leaking. We called housekeeping as advised earlier and no one picked up. So called reception but no one came. The basin taps from the beginning had so little water and so hard to use . The bath tap shower was half broken but was fixed when they possibly mended the leak the first time. No breakfast was includedSo although good location but not at all happy with the service.

    Great Value For Money. Large room, nice staff the pool is nice on the top floor. Right in the centre of the town close to both port rashid and the marine. Would highly recommend at the right price hotel is a little dated but is lovely. Would stay again
