    Good until it all went bad!!

    I moved into hotel on Feb01 for 3 months. I was happy the first month then it went down hill quick. AC for entire hotel off for 8 days. Once back on it started a routine where efficiency was reduced from 130am to 6am every day. I woke up every night sweating. I complained in writing multiple times. Finally I was told management had decided not to anything about it. Due to off-season and Iran conflict occupancy level was very low and hotel began drastic cost cutting. Breakfast buffet was stopped and food became horrible. Lobby always dark to save electricity costs. I gave them many opportunities to improve but finally I had to move. Also there is construction going on all night next door and the sounds make it more difficult to sleep. Brown water comes out of shower every day for 5 seconds. Once I left they refused to give me my 2000 AED deposit back. Avoid this hotel. There are many others nearby that are much better. The longterm reception guys are very nice but the Russian staff at front desk are rude and worthless.     I had a wonderful experience during my stay at Mercure Barsha Heights. The hotel itself is very comfortable, clean, and well-managed, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive.I would especially like to appreciate Baburam, who is working as a Bellman. He is extremely polite, helpful, and professional. From assisting with luggage to providing directions and support, he always showed a warm smile and genuine care. His positive attitude truly made my stay more pleasant and memorable.In addition, the entire concierge team deserves recognition. They are very attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist guests with any request.
