Location

Located just off Sheikh Zayed Road, the city hotel is one of the few hotels near the Mall of the Emirates, a destination in itself. The hotel is only a 20-minute commute from Dubai International Airport and 45 minutes from Abu Dhabi Airport.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 299 rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests have a view of the city from the balcony or terrace, which are standard features of some rooms.     😊 "Had an amazing family time at this hotel! 🏨👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The rooms were spacious and clean, staff super friendly, and the pool area was a hit with the kids 🌊. Loved the breakfast buffet too 🍳🥞. Special shoutout to Petronilah Imali - her warmth made our stay even better 😊. Perfect spot for a chill fam getaway 👍. 5 stars from us!" 🌟

    In my opinion, this hotel deserves 2 stars, not 4! The hallway is small and dimly lit, and the air freshener in the hallway smells very strong and unpleasant. The floors are also dark and poorly lit, as are the rooms. Only one key is issued per room. The hotel, like the rooms, is very outdated: everything is falling apart, creaks, doesn't close, and is loose. There are no robes in the room, and there were no hand towels until we asked, and then they brought them. The bathroom has only two shower towels and toiletries (except liquid soap). Housekeeping is very poor; they vacuum poorly and don't dust. The food in the restaurant is the same every day, and the selection is very limited. The only plus is the proximity to the airport, Emirates Mall, and the beach (relatively).

    The check-in was horrendous. I believe his name was Mahmoud, he was very glum and lifeless. Did not welcome us, did not smile, no eye contact and it was just.. he made us feel very unwelcomed. There was a lady in glasses as well who didn't seem to have any motivation to work either.The bedroom was actually not bad, and the bed was comfortable but, the bathroom was in some critical assistance to be redone! I once called the reception from the room and got the reply "Yes?". I'm sure that even in a 1 star property, this wouldn't have had been acceptable!The breakfast, was..horrible to say the least. The staff were not helpful and the ambience was dead and it felt like we were eating in a cemetery (which would have been better).DO NOT RECOMMEND

    Really bad experience , slipped on leaking AC and waiting for manager to respond. Poor room service. Poor hygiene. Will not stay again
