    Surprised with first booking of one travel website, how this type of third class property can be promoted?Shown great discount with world class amenities & practically its running like an orphan home / shelter. Even a bottle of water has not given & we purchased water too. .WIFI given after asking repeated times. For two guests, only one towel and stating that one more only can ve provided next day after 9 AM where as our checkout us of 11 AM. Fed-up with sleep distrubances could be linen or centric wind blowing from ac & no fan & table, ward robe doors shattered condition. As mentioned in amenities during booking , neither coffee/ tea maker nor hot water kettle available in room & no sitting arrangement.Checkin time too much time and difficult to find out location too.Ancient interior, tiny space, smelling ambient, Cheap shampoo pouches and tablet soaps. No conditioner or cold cream sachets given. Hot water could be a dream hence not bothered to ask & managed with cold water.

    Staff is lovely and very friendly. The room service is available 24h. Poor hygiene and the equipments are old or broken. Good location, close to the tube, red and green lines. The souk is not far too. A lot of supermarkets and cheap restaurants are close to the hotel. Some insects in the room.

    There is no hot water in room and showering is meaningless so no towels and shampoo or soap provided in first place.for sure you can see some cockroach during your stay in your dark room . At end don't risk your life and hygiene for some few cents.

    I was in the tour from 22nd December to Sri lanka and Dubai and planned to stay at Gulf star from 26th December 2019 and booked room well in advance . But on 23rd December gulf star hotel cancelled my room stating there is a maintenance work and I was in great stress as i was touring with my family . From 23rd December my total program was collapsed due to this and I am not able to enjoy the trip. On 26th after check in to other hotel I went to Gulf Star hotel to know the exact thing. Lot of tourists were waiting there as the the hotel cancelled many. The Gulf Star hotel cancelled all booking done earlier and RE-BOOKED all the rooms FOR VERY HIGH RATES as it was year end and lot of tourists were waiting for rooms. And there was NO MAINTENANCE WORK as told by them for cancellation. THEIR MOTIVE IS ONLY FOR HIGH RATES and they left us in great trouble and stress.01. GULF STAR HOTEL TOTALLY SPOILED MY TOUR PROGRAM AND WASTED ALL MY MONEY. 02. They should be BLACK LISTED and to be PUNISHED.03. They must be watched not to enter the online booking. And finally GULF STAR HOTEL AND THE MANAGEMENT IS ONE OF " THE WORST IN THE WORLD."Ganesh J

    I am Hussein its second time my experience with this hotel well the first time experince couldn't go to un extra touch upon check-in with the receptionist but later all was hundled. Speaking on my second experince was fantastic there was lady in reception i think her name is Rim from philipines she was welcoming and polite and also the bellboy attendant he is so cool. Hope to come again
