    Thank you to the most amazing and welcoming staffs at the desk Madonna and Lucy .Its been an easy stay for me .They helps me to change a room to higher floor and give the best available rate for my extension .Its a home here

    Double payment kept despite promised refund.Dubbele betaling niet teruggekregen ondanks belofte

    Pas op: dubbele betaling wordt gewoon gehouden (ondanks belofte)Wij verbleven bij Premier Inn Dubai Dragon Mart van 20 december 2025 t/m 2 januari 2026. Het verblijf was op zich goed, maar wat ze daarna gedaan hebben is echt schandalig.Ik heb per ongeluk 2 keer dezelfde boeking gemaakt via Booking.com en daardoor 2 keer betaald. Ik heb meteen gebeld om het netjes te regelen. Er werd gezegd dat het geen probleem was en dat het bedrag teruggestort zou worden omdat het duidelijk om een dubbele betaling ging.En daarna?Krijg ik ineens een mail dat ze toch niets terugbetalen omdat het “in de voorwaarden staat”.Dit voelt als oplichting: eerst zeggen dat het opgelost wordt en daarna gewoon het geld houden.Het gaat niet om een discussie, het gaat om een dubbele betaling voor dezelfde boeking. Dit hoort je als hotel gewoon netjes recht te zetten.Ik vind dit absoluut niet klantvriendelijk en ik adviseer iedereen: controleer alles dubbel, want als je per ongeluk 2 keer betaalt, houden ze het gewoon.Double payment issue – promised refund, then refusedI stayed at Premier Inn Dubai Dragon Mart from 20 December 2025 until 2 January 2026.The stay itself was good and we had a nice time.However, what happened afterwards is unacceptable.By mistake, I made two identical bookings through Booking.com for the same dates, same room, same guests, and therefore I paid twice. Since the booking could not be cancelled online, I immediately called the hotel and explained the situation clearly.During the call, I was told it would be handled properly and that the duplicate payment would be refunded, because it was obviously the exact same booking made twice.Later, I received an email saying they will not refund anything, because “it is stated in the terms and conditions”.I find this very unfair and misleading: first confirming on the phone that the refund would be processed, and then refusing and keeping the money. This feels like taking advantage of a mistake, even though it was a clear duplicate payment.I am very disappointed with the way this was handled and I strongly advise other guests to be extremely careful, because if you accidentally pay twice, you may not get your money back.
