Location

    I stayed here for a business trip. My company paid but I had to pay with my own money I would not stay here. Badly in need of refurbishment. Dark, dull room with a layer of dirt on the carpet (why not go carpet free for cleanliness??!). I avoided the shower as noticed mildew and didn’t trust the cleanliness. Took a shower in the bath tub instead, but shower head holder was loose so had to hold the shower head. No shower curtain and poor design of bath tub meant water got everywhere including on the floor (unsafe!). Hinge on toilet seat was broken. Ordered room service on their app - chased it up after 40 mins only to be told my chosen meal wasn’t available - why was I not told sooner?? No sewing kit in room- when asked, was given 2 shaving kits. Reception called housekeeping again but took so long I had to leave for a meeting with a loose hem on my dress. Will definitely explore a different hotel the next time I visit for business.
