    Guest policy miscommunication

    Yesterday, I checked into Roda Al Murooj Residence, unaware of their guest policy for the two 3-bedroom apartments I rented. Around 5 PM, security informed me that additional guests were not allowed. Frustrated, I discussed the issue with Aditi, a booking agent at the main reception. While we were talking, a staff member named Mohamed, who was assisting another customer, interrupted us. When I explained my lack of awareness about the guest policy, he smiled mockingly. I asked why he was smiling, and he raised his voice at me. Shocked, I questioned his reaction, and he responded that he would have helped if I had spoken nicely. Confused, I asked if he was the manager and requested to speak to the actual manager.I’m sharing this not to leave a negative review but to highlight that shouting at customers is unacceptable. I was upset and expected assistance to de-escalate the situation. This experience, during my fifth stay at this hotel, left me disappointed.

    Very noisy, just beside motorway. Sure, here’s the translation to English:Old hotel, with few things working. The jacuzzi and steam room were not functioning. The oven in the apartment didn’t work, and there was no hot water in the shower for more than 5 minutes. We complained, and as compensation, we were offered transport to the airport. However, the transport surprisingly dropped us off at the wrong airport, even though all the necessary information had been provided beforehand.

    Review of Roda Swiss Hotel Dubai: Horrible Service and Disgusting ExperienceMy stay at Roda Swiss Hotel Dubai was a nightmare from start to finish. The service was appalling, and the overall experience was beyond disappointing.First, the room service is a joke. They don’t clean properly at all—we purposely left some rubbish to see if they would clean, and they didn’t bother. To make matters worse, they placed my friend’s clothes in the bidet, which was absolutely disgusting.I also had issues with their handling of laundry. I arranged for a third-party laundry service (Washmen) and informed the concierge about the collection. Instead of following simple instructions, they mixed up my clean and dirty laundry, ruining my clothes. When I raised the issue, they refused to take responsibility or offer any compensation.The concierge staff were shockingly rude and unhelpful. They stood around watching as I struggled with my bags, never offering assistance or even a simple greeting. Basic hospitality seems to be nonexistent here.The hotel itself is old and poorly maintained, and the staff’s attitude makes it even worse. There’s no communication, no accountability, and certainly no effort to make guests feel welcome or comfortable.Do yourself a favor: avoid this place at all costs. You’ll regret staying here.

    This is not a 5 Star residence, unfortunatelly. This is maximum a 3 star. Dirty, stained carpets, damaged furniture, dark rooms, cracked tiles, damaged flooring. It was a big disappointment. The pictures in the listing are misleading. The outdoor blue waters that look like a pool are actually just decorative fountains. There is only a small pool, shared with residents of seven buildings.

    A Pleasant place to stay for a few days, close to the Dubai mall and dancing fountains. However, the place needs a makeover. We were initially put in the number 4 building right at the very end of the complex, and the room was terrible! old, outdated, stains on the lounge, and the floors were dirty.I asked for another suite to suit our family of 5 closer to the reception, and they were very happy to assist.Building number 1 is where you need to be.The room is slightly bigger ( 3 bedrooms, all with ensuites ) carpeted, and has a nicer, more comfortable feel.Beds were sufficient, pillows ok, aircon worked ( need this in Dubai )All the pools in the complex are well maintained, have a lifeguard on duty, and a bar.If you get the chance, have breakfast next door at Double Decker restaurant, which has more variety than the cafe near the reception. Also, if they have an international buffet night, you MUST do this it's amazing!Would I stay here again? Yes, in Building 1 and only for a few days. The staff are wonderful and do their best to please you.The place really does need a good going over, though. Namaste 🕉
