    Booked to stay here in March, turned up with all our luggage got it all out of the car and went to check in. Upon arrival the woman at the desk told us the hotel was closed ‘due to everything that was going on’ she offered no further explanation. We had not been informed of this prior despite communication back and forward the previous day before arrival. The hotel did not look closed whatsoever, staff all around even other guests wandering around. She then informed us we would be transferred to their sister hotel for our stay which was fine but in a much further location that we had chosen. Overall very disappointed and still no explanation of why we could not stay there.     I stayed around 40 days in this hotel as i recently moved to Dubai(this is all before the war)It was a confortable stay the hotel team including Alaaddin and Vijay were all very helpful. Housekeeping, laundry, room service did go without a single problem.Some of the facilities such as gym, pool are a bit outdated.My main issue was with Wyndham Rewards services. I directly booked the suit through the hotel but couldnt receive any points. Help desk didn’t bother to respond to my email as well. I would suggest to be more careful on this aspect.     The Egyptain staff and managers in front office are unprofessional and unhelpful.

    The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are great. We’ve been enjoying the facilities except The Egyptain staff and managers in front office are unprofessional and unhelpful. When a loud warning alert due to current tensions went off, they didn't explain anything to the guests. Instead, a staff member shouted at us and told everyone to just go to their rooms. They should provide calm information, not shout at guests during an emergency.     We spent our holiday here which extended to 9 days, just as the war started on 28.2. The Hotel did excellent work for its customers and made our stay very safe and comfortable in such extraordinary circumstances. I can really recommend this hotel.
