Located over 160 km north of Glasgow and Edinburgh, the city hotel lies in the coastal city of Aberdeen. With a number of scenic views and famous castles within visiting distance of the city, Aberdeen makes an original and fascinating retreat. The hotel is around 1.5 km outside the centre of the city, where guests will find numerous shops, restaurants and bars as well as nightlife, a park and bus and train stations.

Best hotel during our two week Scotland vacation

What an excellent hotel! And the front office manager, Amanda Brack, was the absolute best. I realised when I was there that I had forgotten my husband's and my passport at a hotel in Edinburgh. Amanda spent a half hour on the phone talking to 5 different people at that hotel in order to track down the passports. She was a lifesaver and went above and beyond to help me. She was not only professional but so extremely kind as I was extremely upset when I realised what I had done. The room was fantastic and it was the most comfortable bed that my husband and I had slept in during our two weeks in Scotland. The sheets, the duvet were just the best. I will certainly be back and this has made me decide to book Malmaison hotels for future travel based on this experience. Disappointing room, with frosted windows and loud noise

Disappointed with the room. Clearly although I had booked a club double, being last meant I got the rubbish room. Fire exit door was propped open for the team member going for a smoke and the fans outside the window going on and off all night. We had a family get together for my wife’s “Big Birthday” in one of the private rooms off the dining room. We were very well looked after with the young children accommodated and catered for.
