    Brilliant Family Staycation

    rating25 May 2026

We’ve just returned from an amazing family night away at Ballygally and had such a fantastic experience from start to finish.Check-in was quick and easy, and the receptionist was so warm, friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a family room for four, with two single beds and a double bed overlooking the beautiful gardens. The room was incredibly spacious, immaculate throughout and the beds were really comfortable. The hotel grounds are stunning, with plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore. We also visited the beach directly across from the hotel, as well as the play park, both of which the kids absolutely loved. We dined in the Garden Restaurant and the food was outstanding, as was the service. Liam did an amazing job managing such a busy evening while still making every guest feel valued and looked after. After a great night’s sleep, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a fantastic selection of both continental and hot options. Once again, the breakfast staff were just as lovely and attentive as the dinner team and are a real credit to the hotel.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return.
