If you want a great stay in Bradford, this hotel should be at the top of your list. I stay in hotels across the country during the week, and this hotel is easily in my top five. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent too — only 4 minutes from the station.Jay on reception was fantastic and made the check-in process quick and effortless. The included breakfast makes this hotel outstanding value for money. Sadly you get what you pay for!

    rating05 Apr 2026

Used this hotel as it was as central to most things in the city centre.Decent arrival and checked in quicklyRooms and furniture dated First night woken at 2am by hairdryer in adjacent room and very loud tv,this persisted for nearly a hour until I banged on the wall and told them to shut it which they did.Rooms very warm during the night Breakfast was poor but again included in the cheap price so can’t really complain.Outside main entrance is pretty seedy/dodgy especially later at nightUpon leaving this morning we left a bag in the room which was a present for a family member who we were seeing before we drove home,we informed the cleaner and took our case etc to our car. When we returned the bag was missing and when the cleaner was challenged the present had been stashed to one side and the bag out in the bin!!Innocent mistake or potential theft?Left a bad taste in the mouth regarding the hotel,I will visit Bradford again to see my daughter but won’t be staying here! General Manager, Owner at Holiday Inn Express Bradford City Centre By IHG, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate you outlining your experience in detail. We’re sorry to hear that several aspects of your stay affected your comfort. Being disturbed during the night by noise from nearby rooms is understandably frustrating and we always encourage guests to contact reception at the time so the team can step in and manage the situation where possible. Your comments regarding room temperature, furnishings and the condition of the windows have been shared internally so they can be reviewed.Regarding the item left in the room after check‑out, we’re sorry that this led to confusion and caused upset. Situations like this are best reviewed directly so the full details can be understood. We’d encourage you to contact us directly so this can be looked into properly and followed up.Thank you again for sharing your experience. While we’re sorry to hear that this stay didn’t leave a positive impression, we do value your feedback and would welcome the opportunity to review your concerns further offline.Jen - Acting Hotel Managermanager@expressbradford.co.uk

    Absolutely Awful😡

    rating23 Mar 2026

Myself my Wife and our 4 children stayed there Saturday night 21/03/26 for one night. My Wife and our two daughters stayed in one double room with sofa bed and I stayed in another double room with sofa bed with our two Sons.On Sunday 22/03/26 Morning I met my wife and two daughters in the restaurant area for breakfast, they asked me to join them but I said I’m waiting for boys to come down so I’ll have breakfast with them.I asked my daughters that I hope they liked it here at the hotel, my wife said unfortunately our elderly daughter (18) got bit by some insect 🐜 😮 I was shocked and asked here where she than showed it to me on her arm, 3 different insect bites on her right arm, I then immediately went to the Hotel Reception and requested the receptionist to come with me to my wife’s table, she fallowed me and at the table I requested my daughter to show the Lady the insect bites on her arm, the Receptionist had a look and said I’m sorry but the Manager is not on Duty today so if you could leave me your name and email address i will ask the Manager to call your tomorrow. Not once the Receptionist apologised or looked to feel bad about it😮My Wife further explained me about the insect incident in the room that after we checked in the night before and went to our different rooms and as the were getting changed my younger daughter (13) noticed insect on the carpeted floor, my wife said she quickly got tissue paper and picked up the insect and throw it in the toilet and flushed it. She further said she didn’t think much of it at the time after good look around in the room she said to our daughters that it all looks ok so let’s go to sleep as we have a long day tomorrow, Our elder daughter (18) who got bit slept on the sofa bed and it’s from here where she got bit once awake in the morning and felt sharp itching on her right arm, So for sure there were more insects in the Sofa Bed or other parts of the Room? After breakfast we checked out around 10:30 or so, as we was checking out I noticed it was the same Receptionist (Tia) as I hand over our two room key cards to her she again didn’t have curtesy to apologise for the incident, very cold behaviour of this Lady who I was told by the restaurant waitress that her name is Tia and she’s Duty Team Leader/Manger.We left the hotel and Searched for Pharmacy to buy medication for insect bites, It’s now 19:30 Monday evening 23/03/26 and we have had no call or email from the Hotel Manager. One thing for sure we will never ever stay at the Holiday in express Bradford again.I also believe that my Wife is at fault too coz when first she discovered the insect she should have raised the alarm by calling me or go down to the reception and report it immediately and request to change the room.Bedroom Carpets are smelly.Breakfast area was tatty and they kept running out of items which were not replaced quickly, 09:45 I needed milk for cereal but no they had already removed lots of stuff even though there were still guests requesting items like myself for milk, one Waitress did get me some milk in the end, around 09:30 they had no croissant left, again one waitress went to the kitchen and brought me last 3 they had left.Absolutely joke of restaurant to run out of food items for breakfast.
