    Great location. generally friendly staff, clean bedroom BUT the whole hotel needs."a good wash" some of the carpets are filthy, the building is shabby. Definitely not suitable for people with mobility issues. The lift is too far away from reception and only goes to the first floor. reception is slow and you can't charge anything to your room.     Checked in for an overnight stay for a business trip. First impressions the place is lovely, I was sceptical due to the reviews. The room was adequate for 1 person, nothing that a bucket of bleach wouldn't solve :(Food was good once it arrived. I ordered room service as I didn't want to sit on my own in the bar. I ordered food at around 3.30 as I noted that they serve food 24 hours a day. At 5.30 no food, so I went down to reception to be told they only serve it from 6pm, finally received an email at 6.11pm to say that food would be delivered at 5.25, I finally received it at 6.40pm. Absolutely joke! I asked about breakfast as there was a card with a menu selection which is to be hung on the door for collection and a time you want breakfast. Never crossed my mind again after I had hung it on the door. At 8am I discovered the menu card was still hung on my door!!!. Good luck if you want a bath, I would clean it first and it takes around 30 mins to fill it. Safe to say I won't be staying again.     A mistake was made with a drinks order, instead of charging me £17 1 was charged £117 for 3 drinks! The girl behind the bar informed me of the mistake so my problem was not with the staff but being told it would take a couple of days to get the money back to me. If you can spend a couple of seconds pressing the wrong button I should get repaid very soon afterwards. The room card didn’t work and a trip to the Asian restaurant was a bad experience plus I think I was overcharged for an extra room for one of the family, all in all it was a crap stop and one of many in Yorkshire.
