What a fantastic hotel! The collegiate vibe of the place meshes perfectly with the vibe of the city. Love the lawn chairs in front where you can sit and watch the punts and the cows (!) goby. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed…beds and water pressure-top notch. The staff is very attentive-special shout out to Julia, who went above and beyond for us to make our stay more memorable and enjoyable. If you’re planning a visit to Cambridge, this is the place to stay!

Alex at the Graduate hotel Fantastic

The Graduate Hotel in Cambridge is always a comfortable stay. One of the major reasons for this is the fantastic performance of Alexzander’Head of the Reception Team. He is always polite and super efficient and always goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is as good as it can be. The Resto food is good but starter & dessert portion are a little small.

Came for a night away, first time in Cambridge. We had a wonderful stay - the rooms are gorgeous. And we were looked after by the lovely Aleksandra at Reception. Couldn’t have had a friendlier face welcoming us to the hotel! Can’t wait to come back.

Unique stay in a great location

Stayed for two nights in a twin Graduate room. Hotel is in a good location right by the river and about 5-10mins walk from the city centre. The hotel is unique in design as it’s de around the city and the university. So there’s punts on the walls, university related information in the room, even the key cards have famous graduates from the university on them. It’s like going back in time but in a good way! The room is a good size with some unique features, such as a punt shaped bookcase, old style phone and photos of university graduates. Plenty of storage, huge TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a Nespresso coffee machine. The bathroom has a huge sink area, bath and shower. The beds were comfy and the hotel was quiet. There’s a car park behind the hotel I believe it was £26 a night. Just up from the hotel is a pub, ice cream shop, punting hire place and up the steps is a view of Mathematical bridge and another pub. It’s also right by the river so a nice place for a walk. By the entrance there’s a field area with cows, again a nice place for a walk. Behind the hotel is an outside dining/drinks area, again right by the river, with lots of seating options. There’s a pool and gym which looked nice but we didn’t use these when we stayed. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, there’s a good selection of hot and cold food, it does get busy but the staff are helpful and will find a space for you. The restaurant is open for dinner but we didn’t try it when we stayed. There’s also a large bar area just behind reception. Overall a great stay.
