Stayed one night, have stayed many times before but this is the worst experience. Checking in very good, room in the old side of the hotel and it is now showing its age, sink blocked so would take ages to run away, toilet flush would not return so had to manually flush, shower very dangerous as the thermostatic mixer did not seem to be working so got covered in very hot water a couple of times. Went for early breakfast as I know how busy the hotel gets but very disappointing, hash browns cold and solid they had obviously been left out for a while, the worst was finding a hair in the beans (shown in photo) which I did report to a member of staff who did not seem that bothered. This is not the cheapest hotel in Cambridge and used to be a good bet when traveling but will look elsewhere from now on. Good clean and comfortable hotel close to Cambridge

This hotel is not that far out of Cambridge and is clean and comfortable with a large car park which you pay for inside the hotel. Our room was a good size and the bed comfortable. Although the hotel was busy our room was very quiet. The shower was excellent.Jack in reception was excellent. He was friendly and very helpful. Nothing seemed to faze him. He booked us a taxi to go into the city in the evening.Breakfast was busy but the tables were cleaned and cleared very quickly and food replenished regularly. One of the best HIE we've stayed in. Very friendly reception staff, fun barman in the evening. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Very busy hotel, will certainly return.
