  We had a great overnight stay with our two dogs at the weekend!All staff were incredible, the room was super clean and the breakfast was great.One of the best Novotels we have stayed at!

  I stayed at the Novotel Cambridge North in May 2026 for a business trip.Unfortunately, due to my tight schedule, I didn't have time to explore all the hotel's facilities, such as the gym or swimming pool.However, I was really impressed by the rooms, which are beautiful.Having stayed in about twenty hotels of the same chain, this one ranks firmly in my second place ever, surpassed only by a stunning four-star hotel in Thailand.The cleanliness, size, and modern, elegant design impressed me greatly, as well as the attention to detail in the public spaces.The staff, and especially Genni, were incredibly kind, friendly, professional, and helpful.We will definitely return here.Tipo di viaggio

  Stylish modern hotel that was spotless. Staff great very friendly and informative. My room was spacious and had everything I needed; coffee machine, robes and slippers were a nice bonus. Hot powerful shower and gorgeous Rituals toiletries. Huge super king bed. The pool and sauna were clean and well maintained; I did go before 9am and it was very quiet. A water machine in the spa reception area would be my only recommendation. A brilliant stay and super handy for the train into Cambridge.

  A few positives but plenty of negatives

  This hotel is definitely average. Plus points are that it's new, stylish and has a swimming pool. Sadly, there are quite a few negatives.Booking instructions don't give directions to the car park, or explain that it is super-expensive (£21.40 overnight from 9.30pm-12noon).WiFi is ok in communal areas but in my room (126) it regularly dropped connection. I therefore couldn't work in my room. Staff told me this was because of passing trains and that the website warns you about it - which doesn't seem to be true. But I couldn't have worked in my bedroom anyway, as there was no desk!And then there were the weird things like a security guard in high vis jacket patrolling the bar & restaurant. Staff tried to claim this was normal for a hotel - I wouldn't say it is normal at all.My interactions with staff suggested they were not very focussed on helping solve issues.
