    The hotel is situated on the outskirts of St Peter Port, it's lovely and quiet, however, close enough to walk into town should you wish. Alternatively, you can use the courtesy bus. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable and various pillow types are available for your comfort. The bar is well stocked with all manner of alcoholic drinks. In the dining room, the menu offers excellent choices. All the food is well cooked and well presented. They only serve good quality food. We've stayed at this hotel many, many years and try to visit at least twice a year. It's our go to place for relaxation, good food and good company.     Fabulous stay

    The hotel lived up to all of our expectations and beyond. From the moment we entered the hotel every member of staff was polite and extremely helpful. We had no complaints with our room. We had breakfast every morning and there was everything that we needed. The view from the restaurant was lovely too. The hotel was within easy reach of St Peter Port, but if you didn't fancy the walk, especially back up the hill, the hotel provided a mini bus. You could also book a spot on the free island tour, with a very knowledgeable driver. We would definitely go back.     My wife and I spent 6 days staying at the Hotel de Havelet to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. From arriving, to our departure, we could not have been more satisfied with the accommodation, hotel staff and dining experiences both at the Wellington Boot for breakfasts and the Copenhagen for evening dinner. Our room was serviced daily to a high standard and, as with the whole hotel was decorated to a high standard.     Excellent As Usual

    We have been visiting the hotel for many years in the spring. It’s like ‘coming home’ to family, being greeted by the same management team. Every member of staff is welcoming and friendly. The rooms are spotlessly clean and are well taken care of by housekeeping. The food in both restaurants was excellent as usual. We would never stay anywhere else on Guernsey. See you next year.     Lovely hotel, great breakfast, lovely dinner

    Location was very good - a 10 minute walk into the centre of St Peter Port. Takes 15-20 minutes back though as it is up a steep hill.Hotel is nicely decorated and the room looked like it had been recently refurbished. The room (Superior King) was a good size with a very comfy bed. The fruit and biscuits were topped up every day which was appreciated.Bathroom also recently refurbished. Very clean, good shower, large fluffy towels.Nice courtyard to sit in in the front for drinks or tea, especially if the sun is shining.Copenhagen restaurant was good - we ate dinner one night which was delicious with generous portions. Breakfast had an excellent choice with great hot options and no problem so swap out ingredients. All staff were friendly and helpful.Only downside is the internet was a bit patchy.I would definitely stay there again.
