    Nice Friendly Hotel

    Lovely hotel, clean, tidy and well kept. Food delicious, staff lovely. Limited uncomfy seating in the lounge part. Could do with a bit of music, entertainment on an evening. Room was nice and spacious although the shower a bit small. Cleaned everyday but no clean towels on our 5 day stay but told later should have put towels on the floor to be changed and not hung on rails. On the whole a nice experience

    Everything about this hotel is OK but, sadly, apart from the view from the sun terrace, nothing outstanding. Basic small room, with a tired bathroom in need of refurbishment. The swimming pool and sauna area was a bit on the dingy side and the bar is dark and uninviting. The dining room is massive and lacks a bit of soul and atmosphere as a result but I do commend the breakfast - plenty of everything you could possibly want. There's a touch of the 'turkey and tinsel' about the place with a number of coach parties coming and going. The receiption staff were very friendly. The location is good although the busy road between the hotel and the beach was a bit of a pain. A bus stop for Jersey's excellent omnibus service is close by.

    Lovely hotel on outskirts of St Helier Jersey 2nd time to stay here.Great location for beach and bus services. We kept hotel. With very friendly and helpful staff throughout Good choice of food all settings .breakfast or dinnerPrices in lime with Jersey in general.Close to beach and walksOverall great place to visit

    The hotel is very basic and quite dated, the atmosphere generally is pleasant.We were given a supposedly superior room, and were deeply disappointed. All the windows to our room directly abut the guests’ terrace so there is absolutely zero privacy. People using the guests’ terrace literally walk right past the window and it is really uncomfortable.The outdoor terrace for the room is tiny and has one chair and nothing else as it’s too small, and is dirty. It doesn’t look out onto anything, it’s only really useful for drying.There is very little surface space to put your things, particularly in the bathroom, not even a glass for toothbrushes. Literally just a sink, and a small shelf above the loo (where loo roll is kept so this is not an option).The shower water is not adequately contained by the glass door, so water profusely leaks onto the floor, and there’s nothing you can do other than waste two towels a day trying to mop it up in order to not have a flooded bathroom.The lighting is quite stark, and one the bedside lamps was literally just decorative as there was no plug socket for it to be connected to.Our TV had no channels at all so again was rather pointless which is a shame as it was a big TV mounted on an arm which would have been ideal during chillier evenings when we spent more time inside. Instead we had to stream on a laptop.That being said, the breakfast buffet was great and had a generous selection. The staff are friendly and helpful.

    Paid £250 per night for double room which was ok. All food served was barely warm, mentioned this to the staff but it didn’t change anything No entertainment on in the hotel at any point during the 7 days Staff ok, £150 was taken out of my bag what left in room when we went for breakfast
