Location

This hotel occupies a unique location, offering guests views over the beautiful St Brelade's Bay, the glorious coastline, the sandy beach, and the rolling surf. The centre of St Helier, with its bars, nightclubs, and shopping amenities, can be reached in approximately 15 minutes by car. There is also a stop for public transport just 2 minutes away, and it is around 4 km to Jersey airport.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1850. The hotel has 106 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 2 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Took my best mate for lunch. I had the soft shell crab burger it was outstanding!!Can't thank Georgia enough for making us feel so welcome she made sure we had everything we needed.

    This was our first time at L'Horizon although we go to Jersey every year. We chose this hotel because they could offer a walk-in shower instead of the shower being over the bath although the shower control in room 248 was so difficult to turn on. The room was advertised as garden view but the view was of the building site next door; we did have a balcony with side sea view. The room was very clean and comfortable with nice touches like bottled water replaced each day and turndown service with chocolate Jersey cows on the pillow! Breakfast is a great choice but one morning the cooked buffet choices were cold. If you see the Bollinger tea advertised online it is no longer available. Reception didn't know this but the hotel honoured our booking and it was a real treat. The breakfast to go on our last day included yoghurt which was confiscated at Security so eat this before you get there! All in all we would certainly stay again as it is a lovely hotel in a fabulous position on St Brelades bay and they have some really good staff.

    Spa just gets better and better

    The spa at L'Horizon just gets better and better, I visited last week for a pre-holiday gel manicure and pedicure and when I mentioned my neck was sore Celine quickly fitted me in for a 25- minute massage after the booked treatments and worked through her lunch break to accommodate me. She is so skilled and knowledgeable and the post relaxation room is the best I have eve experienced, comfortable beds, muffins, herbal tea or coffee and the latest magazines and really you don't want to leave - and you don't have to. There is never a rush- great manicure, fantastic pedicure and my neck is better. I had arranged to meet a friend for lunch afterwards on the Hotel terrace (simply the best ); the sun was shining, Daniel was as charming as ever, the food was excellent and on leaving Tony the concierge who's been there for years made me feel like a superstar. Thank you LHorizon and all your staff who I'm pleased to see don't change too much from one year to the next.

    We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years and we have never had any complaintsHave always had a lovely clean room with a balcony and a superb viewThe food is amazing, all of the staff are very happy, polite and cannot do enough for you. We must give a special mention to Alison who is brilliant We would never stay anywhere else and can thoroughly recommend L’Horizon
