Excellent long weekend stay here and pleasantly impressed - food is excellent and well above expectations. Breakfast is plentiful have full English items, fruits yogurts ranges of cereal plus a couple of things on request if u wanted. Delicious filter coffee served too you and help yourself to juice. Dinner is a must we went for 3 courses. Starters always salad bar with fresh prawns plus fresh melon and pineapple slices. Mains always two meats and a fish option - every meal perfectly cooked. For weekend we had a huge sirloin steak on Saturday best steak tasted in long time ! Sunday they had joints of beef and turkey for a carvery. Staff are friendly helpful and attentive the dining room was very well organised and run. They work very hard and it shows. Bar is pleasant with good range of drinks. We tried the pool and you get complementary towel and showers there- thou they do need to descale the pool showerhead! Lovely room with good shower and usual facilities but like most reviews it is dated decor and the tv was quite small. Overall very impressed and have enjoyed our stay finishing with a little sunbathe with n the terrace . Well done Norfolk Lodge! A pleasant stay and very good staff throughout.

The hotel is situated 15 to 20 minutes walk into the centre of St. Helier. A large hotel with a large dining room and an indoor swimming pool.The room we occupied was a decent size with ensuite bathroom (bath/shower). Twin beds were very comfortable and the room was kept very clean and tidy throughout our 5 night stay. Two comfortable chairs and a small table and tv as well as tea/coffee making facilities.A very good buffet breakfast is provided in the restaurant. A large lounge with outdoor space and a bar. Staff were excellent and made you feel welcome on arrival, excellent porters could not do enough to help and carried our luggage directly to our room from the coach.Restaurant staff very good and waiter service excellent.Food from the restaurant was not what you expected from a 3 star hotel, it was more like a a high end establishment with a new nightly selection, menu catered for all people.Rooms are basic but clean and tidy, but sound proofing needs to be addressed and please ensure there is toilet paper in the bathroom. Initial hotel experience.

The meet and greet service at the hotel reception was very good. Unfortunately, the experience of being greeted by the restaurant supervisor, who's style of communication was quite abrupt particularly when I wanted to inform her of my food intolerances so that it would enable the staff to prepared for the following day at breakfast time. She appeared to be 'put out' that she had to find a piece of paper to write the information on. The travel company had been told of my food intolerances and one can only assume that information had been passed onto the hotel. Over all, majority of the staff were very welcoming, the facilities, and presentation of the hotel was clean and tidy and a good representation of a 3 star hotel. Fabulous hotel not too far from town near bus stop for less mobile.
