  Stayed for one night with young teen kids.All staff were lovely, bar staff especially n lovely.Parking was fine and got a space easily, registered my car but haven’t been charged yet so not sure what happens with that.Rooms were clean and large, the only downside was when I booked I chose interconnected rooms and my booking had the guaranteed connecting room’ icon, which was described as two rooms joined by a lockable door in between that we can operate. This was not the case. The rooms were next to each other only, not joining in anyway. As we were only there for less than 24 hours I let it go, but I’d question whether they should be advertising interconnected rooms when they aren’t.Our toilet barely flushed either, no offer or option of digital key, even though the app offers it (Hilton member). No Pinot Grigio at the bar either. Breakfast was good and any other food we ate was also good. Reception staff very pleasant as well.   Had a lovely stay. Staff were all so lovely. Room was spotless, lovely view of the gold course and a taxi ride to the centre of Cheltenham. We used the spa, pool, restaurant and bar.   A really great example of how business should run Pet Friendly accommodation.

  Even though we didn’t spend much time at the hotel (we arrived quite late and left first thing in the morning), we really enjoyed our stay. They welcomed our dog with treats and fresh water, which was such a lovely touch, and even had a breakfast area where we could sit with our pup and enjoy the beautiful views.The breakfast staff were incredibly kind, the waiter and chef even made me a delicious bowl of oats. You could really feel the care and attention to detail throughout.And a special mention to the housekeeping ladies, they were so friendly and took the time to share a bit of the hotel’s history with us.   The perfect stay for ‘staying in’ to celebrate with loved ones

  The staff at this hotel created a magical experience for my Mother’s 80th Birthday celebration and went well over and above my expectations. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The little touches made our 3 day stay so very special and totally overwhelmed Mum, in a good way!!!! Thank you Maggie and team for making Mum’s celebtlration so memorable. There were accessibility issues initially but these were easily rectified by driving from the main entrance to the entrance where the rooms are, so no need for stairs. It’s a really beautiful hotel, especially as you approach, it’s super clean and extremely tastefully decorated. The dinner was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t fault my stay.   Please reconsider when booking this hotel, the food and drinks were good but the actual stay was horrendous.

  Staff were friendly. Room was swelteringly hot. You cannot open a window so no air flow. no air conditioning in the whole hotel. We rung down to reception to ask for a fan and they said they would bring one up, they never did. We called a further 4 times to ask again and no one brought one up despite saying they would. We then went down to reception at 11pm - 6 hours after we first asked and they said there were no more available. They didn’t call to tell us. Very uncomfortable sleep and woke up in a sweat.
