Terrific Value
23 Mar 2026
The Ibis Styles in Crewe is located just over half a mile on foot from the station. My room was more than adequate for my needs. A comfortable bed, a decent shower and tea & coffee making facilities.I did not eat at the hotel but used the bar which was good with reasonably priced drinks (£5.60 for a pint of cider). The staff were pleasant and friendly.I paid a bargain price of £58 for my one night stay.

Great for coeliacs
30 Nov 2025
Can only say I am very impressed with this hotel, a call prior to my stay a few days earlier to say I was a coeliac and they came up trumps, every evening meal was gluten free (not that I even suspect other diners knew this) absolutely made my day so a super big thankyou to the chef and team. Had a good breakfast too. All the staff here are so lovely and accommodating, the hotel is clean and fresh and I would definitely return Emma Wright, General Manager at Ibis Styles Crewe, responded to this review Good Afternoon,Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review. We’re absolutely delighted to hear how impressed you were with your stay. It means a great deal to us that our team was able to accommodate your coeliac requirements and that you felt confident and well looked after throughout your meals. Your kind words will be shared with our chef and the entire team — they will be thrilled to know they made such a positive impact. We’re also glad you enjoyed breakfast, found the hotel clean and fresh, and felt well cared for by our staff. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.Best Wishes

Good stay at a good price
26 Nov 2025
I stayed two nights at the hotel 24/11 - 26/11. The hotel is well laid out with a nice , bright modern lounge and dinning areas. All the staff I interacted with were courteous, efficient and came across as genuine.I found the room clean, large, quiet and well maintained, the "hospital bed tray" was something I hadn't seen in a hotel before, but it was a nice addition.. The shower was very spacious, powerful and hot.The restaurant food was good I had shepherds pie and the greens medley one evening and really enjoyed it. It was a nice touch that the staff asked how it was and then then checked in again to see if I wanted to order anything else. There was a good selection at breakfast (everything I wanted anyway) and when the orange juice ran out I mentioned it to a member of staff and they filled it up immediately. The hotel is better than most of the competition in the same price bracket and I would recommend it to others Emma Wright, General Manager at Ibis Styles Crewe, responded to this review Good Afternoon,Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review of your stay with us. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed our modern lounge and dining areas, as well as the cleanliness, comfort, and quietness of your room. It’s great to know that the room features, including the tray table and spacious shower, added to your comfort. We’re also pleased that you enjoyed your meals in the restaurant, especially the shepherd’s pie, and that our team’s attentiveness made a positive impression. Your comments about breakfast and the prompt service when the orange juice ran out are especially appreciated and will be shared with the team.Thank you for your kind recommendation and for recognising the value we offer. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again in the future.Best Wishes

Staff great food terrible!
19 Nov 2025
The staff at the hotel were genuinely excellent — friendly, helpful, and a real credit to the place. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the food. We ordered dishes that were recommended to us, but they were extremely disappointing. Portions were very small, poorly presented, and simply not enjoyable. Another person in our group ordered a burger, but what arrived was practically non-existent.When we raised the issue, even the staff admitted that the quality of the food depends on which chef is working that day — and one of them even said she wouldn’t eat it herself. That really says it all. It’s a real shame because there are no other food options nearby, so the hotel has the market to itself and clearly doesn’t feel any pressure to maintain decent standards. With a bit of effort, this could be a fantastic experience, but at the moment the food seriously lets the whole place down. Emma Wright, General Manager at Ibis Styles Crewe, responded to this review Dear Karl,Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. While we’re delighted to hear that our team made you feel welcome and well cared for, we’re truly sorry that the dining experience fell far short of expectations. This is not the standard we aim to deliver, and your comments are being taken very seriously. We appreciate you bringing the inconsistencies and portion concerns to our attention. We are currently reviewing this with our kitchen team to ensure quality, presentation, and consistency are prioritized every day — regardless of who is on shift. Your experience also highlights the need for better internal communication and training, and we are already addressing this.We agree that with the right attention, the restaurant can and should match the high level of service provided by our staff. We are committed to making the improvements needed so that every part of your stay is enjoyable.Thank you again for your honesty. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance to provide the full experience we strive for.Best Wishes
