Don’t waste ur hard earned money in the spa
26 May 2026
Booked half hour and they charged us for an hour but we had to pay for there mistake. they would not refund our money or give us a receipt. Robes were washed out and very old. Place run down. Big hole in a stair way with a bucket for the water. Did look that it was being fixed. Shower old and changing rooms run down. Giving it one start only because I had to to write the review. Staff and management very cheeky when confronted about over payment so instead of making a scene we just left. This place must’ve struggling if they have to go to that level to get money. I would not recommend this spa

Excellent Food and Service
08 May 2026
We visited the hotel for lunch, we didn’t have a booking, we were promptly seated, even though the restaurant was busy with first communion and a 90th birthday celebration. My Mum suffers from a health condition and the gentleman who seated us (apologies I didn’t get his name), was quick to realise same and responded to her needs very discreetly. Both food and service was excellent, I had the beef pie and they certainly didn’t skimp on the beef. I don’t normally go for dessert but both the Eton Mess and Posset were delicious. First time to visit but we will be back.

Over charged and can’t get money back
04 May 2026
I Will never be back, I booked a treatment in the spa for £79, they then changed the booking without informing me for a more expensive treatment and over charged me. When I took it to the manager he said he would get me a refund. I have emailed and phoned and still not got an email. It’s the worse run business Emily Dixon, Owner at Best Western White Horse Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to leave your review across multiple platforms. We are always happy to investigate any concerns raised by guests, however we absolutely refute the suggestion that you were overcharged and we have communicated this to you directly. The spa package booked, including the treatment details, package price and outstanding balance due, was confirmed by telephone the day prior to your visit. These details were then reiterated again on arrival at our leisure desk before payment was taken and before your spa day commenced. You paid both the outstanding balance and a drinks bill on departure, and the query was only raised 48 hours later. While we appreciate all guest feedback, it is important that the facts surrounding the booking, confirmation and payment process are accurately reflected.
