    Childs portions for adults. Poor service.

    Group of 21 family members went for a family birthday celebration this is where we normally go but never again. 4 people ordered roast beef dinner it was like a childs portion 1 tiny roast potato 1 spoonful of potatoes 1/4 carott and parsnip piece of roast beef spoke with the manager who spoke with the chief and this was the portion. We ordered our sweet which we waited on none of the staff were interested in listening to our complaints. I don't know what as happened in recent months to this hotel but the service is awful. We will not be returning which is very sad .

    Perhaps it was just our room, but this hotel room was pretty tired and not in the condition we would’ve hoped. Air Canada Vacations and Moloney & Kelly booked us here, which really was not at the same (and expected) level of other accommodations on our two week trip. The location is also not ideal for touring/walking Derry. Having said that, the breakfast and service at breakfast was excellent! Breakfast was by far the best part of our stay!

    We booked a family meal at the Waterfoot Hotel for a confirmation party. We had a negative experience. Main meals were not served, missing sides, late orders, no apologies from serving staff for the shoddy service. Food was salty and below par. So disappointing

    Don’t go if you want to sleep

    We stayed here for a family function on Saturday past. There was also a wedding in in the hotel. The wedding party went on to 4:30am… there was shouting and laughing right up to this point. No one did anything about it. We were there with elderly parents and no one slept. When we spoke with reception in the morning we were told that this was highlighted in their terms and conditions. We booked through booking.com There was no mention of this on their site While we would expect some noise from a wedding party we certainly would not expect this to go on to 4:30 amReception staff were not interested in discussing this and simply stated again this was in the terms and conditions of the bookingIt was a horrendous night and will not be back. We Will certainly not be recommending this to any other friends and family.
