  Nice reception area the dining room , stairs and hall ways leave a lot to be desired, the room was looked like it has bot of a spruce up but all the carpets need replacing.It was ok for a nights stay after a shopping trip. The car park looks a bit dodgy but our car was fine you can pay on your phone or in the hotel on a machine.Walking distance to the shops, tesco next door.We ate in the restaurant we had to wait at least 40 mins for our mealand we were the only ones in there my daughter said the steak was good , i wanted aPanini with mozzarella but they hadnt got any so had a fishfinger sandwich was dire.

  Excellent hotel with committed professional staff.Room was clean and comfortable.Good food for dinner and breakfast with eggs cooked to order if desired.Well stocked bar.Car parking for very reasonable cost.First class location - 5 minute walk to train station and 10 - 15 minute walk to city centre.

  Absolutely terrible hotel Firstly I arrived and there was a man staring at the wall under the camera. I advised the staff I felt unsafe whom didn’t appear bothered The staff didn’t mention at check about parking. When I asked they said I may get a fine now it’s my job to see the signs The shower curtain was filthy. The room had a huge stain on the carpet. The voil was falling off so no privacy Constant noise and chattering from staff outside the room It appears they made reception look nice but the rooms are horrendous. Absolutely shocking. This is not a 4 star. It’s a 1 star

  Stayed for one nice on an organised coach trip. Basic dated hotel room but with everything you need, and all appliances and lights etc working. The staff were friendly and worked very hard to,keep buffet meals topped up and hot. one thing we thought was a great idea and have never experienced before, a jug of iced water and glasses available 24/7. Great touch.
