Location

This conference hotel is located on the banks of the River Wear, a few minutes walk from the centre of Durham and easily accessible by road or rail. The nearest airports are Teesside Airport and Newcastle Airport, some 45 and 40 km away respectively.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 207 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Booked & stayed last min, hotel is very clean, staff are helpful and really polite.     Check in was overall good but had to wait a while, only two people at the desk. The staff were friendly. The room was good, clean and spacious. Great air con. For the price we paid (£175) including 24 hour parking, no food, I expected a fridge and a better hospitality tray. This was my third stay. Overall a lovely experience. Very nice hotel.     Fabulous service, great check in by Lisa. Room floor 4, felt like penthouse suite. Kingsize bed, little kitchen area, extremely clean bathroom. Great view of river, and an extremely comfortable bed ensured a lovely quiet sleep. Breakfast superb. Bar area comfortable. All staff provided a top quality service. It's our 10th stay in this hotel and it just keeps getting better.
