  The Burlington Hotel Eastbourne-please avoid

  This hotel is rather drab . The rooms are OK but there is no air con and the bed we had was a standard double. With the current temperatures (29+C) it made for a very sweaty night. The room was not serviced on a daily basis. Bath room needed an upgrade with a bath curtain to retain the shower - very ‘80s!Never again.

  Our room was small and filthy. The carpet hadn’t even been hoovered. the bed was a standard double and really uncomfortable. Breakfast which was extra was OK but a struggle to find cutlery as the tables were not laid.

  Dirty hotel

  Very dirty and smelly. Hall carpet had obviously been damp for years and had a strong musty smell. At breakfast I asked were the clean cups were and was told they did not have enough to go round . The hotel is on bad need of a revamp. They should also invest in a vacuum cleaner and teach the staff how to use it

  Booked for one night. The room had no air conditioning or a fan ( I don’t think any part of the hotel had air con). The room hadn’t been hoovered as there were bits and bobs on the carpet. The bathroom hadn’t had a thorough clean for ages, the Lino didn’t fit the room as there were bulges as you walked on it and one of the towels had a stain! The bed was a standard double and there were no bedside sockets for recharging your phone. There was no fridge, bottled water or biscuits.Breakfast and parking was extra. The whole place needs refurbishing. We were charged a total of £128.

  The Burlington Hotel is set on the Eastbourne sea front right next to the pier. The rooms have different prices dependant on what you needs are.We had a super room with a lovely view of the pier.Plenty of room and a nice bathroom. We had Breakfast and dinner which was very good.Dont like new system of have to buy your drinks at the bar then taking into dinner! They have parking at the rear of the hotel which is very handy.
