  Not a premier inn I would stay in again unless I really had to.

  The staff on reception I would give 5*, very welcoming and friendly. Thats where it ends, we booked last minute, we stay in a lot of Premier Inns and have never had a problem. Our room was dirty, there were cobwebs in the bathroom, the table legs had so much dust on them you could write your name in it. People staying there allowed their children to run up and down the corridors @ 11pm screaming that we had to go to reception and ask them to stop it. Breakfast the next day was chaos, not enough staff, tables were dirty and clearly not cleaned often as very sticky, was told that the food would be about 15 minutes, food good when came, but did not want to stay in that restaurant longer than necessary, didn't want to touch anything because just felt unhygenic, had to ask for plates and make our tea in paper cups as normal cups had run out. Not the best experience for a premier inn.

  All the usual Premier Inn attributes - clean, spacious room with comfortable bed - plus extremely helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

  Standard hotel but given a disabled room that's a first. Food was slow, delivered in parts not as a complete meal and wrong food. Manager appeared very stressed at the situation. New staff and limited English in the kitchen. Poor overall with money refused due to time, delivery issues very apologetic, poor guy.

  Rooms were unbearably hot even with provision of fans. However, it was good to find food still available after closure of pub chain

  Shabby and dirty

  This hotel is to be avoided. We’ve stayed in Premier Inns up and down the country for years now. This has been the worst. On the plus side (earning it the only star I’m prepared to give it), the bed linen and towels were clean. The hotel, communal areas, bar and rooms themselves are so shabby and dirty, the hotel needs to be closed down. The photos say it all. The first one - just outside our door; the second at the side of the dressing table/desk; the last 2, the bathroom. Never again.
