Location

This conference and business hotel is situated on Waterloo Place, which is an extension of Princes Street, Edinburgh's famous shopping street. All of Edinburgh's major tourist attractions, including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace, are within walking distance of the accommodation. The central train station is only 2 minutes away and a public bus stop is located just outside the hotel. Guests will find a range of restaurants, shops, bars, pubs and nightlife spots in the hotel's immediate vicinity and the Scottish Parliament and the Botanical Gardens can both be reached within 30 minutes on foot. Edinburgh Airport is 16 km from the hotel.

Facility

6 suites and 181 double rooms are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     So convenient for Edinburgh

    I like this hotel. I stayed here in the past but have not been back for about eight years. What do I like about it? I like it’s proximity to all the main sites. I like the little pool in the basement to cool off the staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast are good with a lot of choice. I was also pleased that I could get a room that was on the flat near the front door itself was the slightly superior room and it was great. The hotel could be a bit more colourful inside but the bar is lovely! I hope to visit again.

    I’ve had the most fantastic stay at this beautiful located hotel in the centre of Edinburgh. The staff on reception are amazing, especially Irene. No one could complain about the breakfast high-quality food and fantastic service. I would highly recommend if you’re visiting Edinburgh stay at this hotel you would not be disappointed.     The hotel is in a great location. Only a 10 minute walk to the Royal Mile and very close to buses that will take you to Craigmillar Castle and Rosslyn Chapel. The hotel rooms are a good size and are very clean and comfortable. Get the breakfast. It is a great value and includes a buffet plus a hot entree off of the menu.
